> 3 dayThis appears to be a well made device and works great. The only thing you need to be aware of is that it will never handle 10 oz of yarn. The most we were able to squeeze in was 7 oz.

> 3 dayJust as described, sturdy, well-packed, excellent materials. I was a bit dismayed to find no instructions in the package, but I almost figured it out by myself, only needed a boost from the online video on the Stanwood website to get it set up and winding with a hummmmm. Very pleased!!!

> 3 dayI find this winder cumbersome. It also has a little learning curve to use. I had to look at some videos on YouTube to get going. I think it does better with thicker yarns. I have wound several cakes and I find it rather wonky overall. If you wind a lot of sock yarn this might not be the best choice.

> 3 dayI purchased a different yarn winder first but did not like it. I found this one and decided to take a chance on it. I was greatly surprised on how sturdy it is and it easily wound my extra bulky skeins of yarn. I LOVE it!!!

> 3 dayThis is the best yarn winder I’ve ever used and I’ve used a lot during the last 40 years. This one is beefy and gets the job done fast. I love that I can wind larger as well as small cakes on this winder. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 daySturdy, easy to use. Works well with large skeins of yarn and even thread.
