> 3 dayI LOVE this ball winder. It is easy to set up and take down, it is solidly made, and it doesnt chew up my kitchen table. I am a hobbist, so I am only winding a few balls a month, so I cannot say how it would hold up for a small business. I have wound everything from fingering to chunky with no issues whatsoever. I love not having to go to the yarn store and pay them to wind my indie yarn - or have to make a special trip when Im finally ready to use that skein I bought a couple months ago. I only wish I had bought this sooner.

> 3 dayLike a lot of people, I buy yarn when Im still working another project and since my local yarn store closed down I have had nowhere to wind my yarn. Because storing yarn in cakes can damage the fiber over time I keep them in skeins like advised instead of asking a seller to wind it for me. Hence me needing a yarn winder!

> 3 dayI opted for the larger winder so that I could wind and organize my Lion Brand Mandala bonus size yarn (10.5oz). The winder did an amazing job up to about 7-8oz. Id highly recommend this winder for balls/cakes under 8 oz. I would still recommend it for use with larger amounts, but wind with caution.

> 3 dayThis device is the BEST ball winder on the market. It easily handles all of my small skeins and those big ones all the way up to the 10 ounces they say it will. Plus it is easy to use, produces a compact but not overwound yarn cake and reduced my stash storage needs by half. Spend the money, buy the one that works for any skein you might have, its well worth it.

> 3 dayGot tired of spending hours winding balls of yarn before starting a project, so I checked the ball winder reviews and due to the high positives chose this one. Ive only had it a few hours, but I am already extremely pleased. It took me only an hour to wind 15 skeins of yarn, when before it probably would have taken me all day.

> 3 dayVery fast and easy to use, no mater how much yarn you need to wind. I love that the cakes sit flat and dont roll all around like a ball does. I dont have to keep it corralled . I havent had any issues!
