Nice spinner but leave it in one spot. I have been taking it in and out of the box as needed and it doesnt work as well each time I set it up. I think it would be perfect if it could be left out

I love this so easy, saves time & wear on my hands... I think the price is very reasonable. When I started using it told husband one of the beat things I ever bought.

While it works great on heavier yarns, which is what I spin, its a mess with finer weights, which is what I buy. Im going to have to purchase a second size for full wind-ability.

LOVE love love it!!! Im using this with the tabletop amish style swift and it works fantasticly!! It can handle large skeins. Seems to be very well made. Ive not had any problems winding yarn.

This yarn winder is amazing and easy to use. The grey yarn is from this yarn winder and the white yarn is from a much cheaper version. This is worth the money!

This winder is the best crochet associated item Ive ever owned! It is a fine oiled machine. It is so well made. When I first got it all I wanted to do was wind yarn instead of crocheting it. Its so much fun! I opted for a bigger size yarn winder because I wanted to be able to wind a lot of yarn since I have 2 or 3 of the same skein/color. I took a whole bucket of yarn, winded it into cakes, & put them back in the same bucket. To my surprise I had a lot more room in the bucket so it allowed me to put more yarn away than before which helps me organize all my yarn (since I have more yarn then Ill ever need. Lol). Bonus - the cakes look so pretty and stack up so nice. No more sitting on my bed and balls of yarn rolling towards me or worse, off the bed. I didnt understand before why you would wind your yarn vs just taking it from the skeins center but now I do. You get all the knots & yarn barf out of the way and stack it for later use. NOW i get it. This is the BEST $68 purchase Ive ever made. What are you waiting for? Start living your best crochet life and buy this winder for yourself. You deserve it!!

Wife loves this thing. Wish i knew more about crochet to describe how much she likes it. Easy to setup. Shell wind while I unravel and vice versa.

While I havent actually used it yet, I can say that out of the box the product appears to be defective. The handle is bent just enough that it knocks into the clamp bar. My husband is going to try to fix it enough that it will turn smoothly. I was highly disappointed to see this as the product is top dollar. Otherwise it appears to be solid. I was hesitant to buy because it is a Made in China product and we prefer to buy US first and anything but chinese made products second as Chinese products are not known for high quality. Again, Disappointing...

Sorry it’s taken so long to write this review. I’ve had this for 2 (3?) years now & can’t say enough nice things about it. It took a little getting used to but, once I did, I love it. It winds nice even balls. It works so smoothly. I’ve had nothing but great experiences from Stanwood winders. I’ve had the smaller Stanwood winder since 1998 & it still works perfectly. I bought this one because it winds slightly larger balls. I expect this one will be around for another 20 years.
