Bought this item for my daughter. The pages are think and the spiral bound Is sturdy. I cant wait to see the wonderful art she will create with this book. I plan on giving this to her with watercolor paint.

Favorite product. Have used several.

The paper is textured. I use these for picture journals of our life, etc. I have two of the larger size, but think I may like this smaller size better. I use watercolor pencil and ink. It works fine with those. And its fun to just work in a journal. The paper is heavy and does not leak through with either the water or the ink I use.
