> 3 dayI love this spiral watercolor journal. Its stiff-backed and very handy for outdoor (plein aire) sketching and painting, also great for acrylics, charcoal, and pencils. Cold press 140 lb watercolor paper that doesnt buckle when wet. And such a great value for your money!

> 3 dayAlthough it did take a while to arrive (something I ordered from Japan at the same time arrived first!) when it did I was overjoyed. Its big and heavy which is really comforting- it means the paper is a good weight and you know itll do the job. Its brilliant to sketch in, holds watercolour without buckling and has really solid cover boards.

> 3 dayPages are very thick and beautiful. Cover is thick and protective. It is A5 size which i don’t know if that was listed anywhere but for some reason I was expecting A4? My own poor research I’m sure. The book is lovely. Watercolours spread/sit beautifully on the page.

> 3 dayI was very pleasantly surprised at the quality for this book. For 7+ USD, I didnt expect too much. However, the pages are thick, and the smoothness and whiteness of the paper really helps to bring out the colours I use. I usually use a mixture of pencils and inks. Erasing mistakes is easy - the paper doesnt get damaged even if I have to correct the same spot more than once. Using inks is no problem either as the thickness of the paper does not allow bleeding. I have starting making postcards from the pages with my own drawings, as they are the right size/thickness/smoothness for it. The front page of the journal as shown on the listing can be torn off to reveal a more mature actual front cover. The front and back covers are thick and sturdy. I can bring this everywhere I go and be able to draw anytime since the covers make for a solid support. I am extremely happy with this product and I dont think I will be bothering with others from now on. Definitely will be stocking up on this. It is such a pleasure to work with.

> 3 dayI was expecting for this to be a bit better quality watercolor paper, but it is just ok. Would be fine for practice or for student work. I do love the size of the notebook...easy to have around for quick work on the go.

> 3 dayThe paper is very thick - great for watercolor. It is almost like 300 weight. Nice for a visual journal or small pictures. I would buy another - and perhaps a larger one as well.
