> 3 dayI think all of the Strathmore Visual Journals are professional or near-professional quality. Great size for convenience, and the paper types are specific, not generic sketchbook paper. The Bristol vellum is only 300 because that level works. The pages are thick and sturdy, the surface is smooth and slightly glossy, and like all the Visual Journals has sturdy binding with a good, hard back. Although it isnt what its intended for, it takes wet (not like wet on wet) media well. I have used watercolor in it with interesting results. Ive bought this bristol vellum multiple times, and its on my subscribe and save.

> 3 dayOh my gosh. Do I ever love this spiral watercolour notebook! The thickness and texture of this paper are perfect! It’s exactly what I was looking for. On top of your painting skills, the paper plays a huge part in the results of your painting. Great place product and great value.
