> 3 dayWow what a great drawing pad. I was so impressed by the quality of the book and the sheets. Heavy weight, acid free and suitable for many mediums including watercolors. Really is an excellent value. Sold for far more at art stores. This is coming from a professional artist I will definitely buy again and again Arrived quickly and was well packed in a carton rather then a soft flimsy envelope so nothing was bent or damaged in transit. Dick Blick is the best art supplier bar none!

> 3 daynice thick paper to sketch on. withstands repeated eraser rubs. use it with a kneaded eraser (aka artists eraser) to avoid smudges and dust. would have given 5 stars if it had perforated line along the edge to tear off a sheet.

> 3 dayJust a blank notebook with very heavy paper. Not what I thought--returned it. Paper is of great quality, though.

> 3 dayI bought this journal to practice my hand lettering. I have used sakura micron pens, pencil, brush pens, and watercolor paint. I actually like it much more than any other bristol smooth journal I have had before. And the cover shown is removable. It exposes a hard cover that I dont really like, but its better than what is shown. Pros: The rings allow you to turn the page without having to rip the page from the book The paper is a good size for just messing around with your pens or other mediums you want to use The paper doesnt bleed Way more pages than other bristol smooth journals in the price range Cons: The only con is that the paper is not perforated. So if you want to take a page out, you have to rip it out and then trim the edge to make it even. Overall, I would buy this again.

> 3 dayUsing this for an art journal. Nice heavy pages, perfect for painting, water color, etc (although I DID Gesso all of the pages). I will be ordering a second one for sure.

> 3 dayI can work wet in wet and do 2 washes on both sides. Im usually working in 2 books at once. Scraping or heavy pencil lines will indent the backside so I stopped using inktense pencils but sharpies dont even make a shadow. I wouldnt get the 90lb, which buckles and warps badly though.

> 3 dayCame in great shape. I love this brand. Highly recommend. I prefer to use watercolor and pencils. But you can use just about anything in these journals.
