This sketchbook is very sturdy. Ive always had problems with others bindings becoming bent or pages getting dog eared. This one has none of those problems the binding is strong and the front and back covers are made of a thick board that protects your pages and gives a nice sturdy surface to bear down on. Highly recommend this item!

I’ve bought a lot of little notebooks for my drawing/paintings over the years and this product continues to be my one of my favorites.

Was going to use this little spiral-bound book to create swatches of my watercolors in order to have a handy visual reference. Well, that was the plan anyway. Be warned: Low-tac artist tape sticks to this paper!! I set up my grid and laid down the tape. But after finishing my swatches and letting them dry, the tape tore up the paper when I tried to remove it. I havent had this problem with any other 140lb watercolor paper Ive used. Just this one!

Absolutely wonderful for graphic design projects. I did a lot of cutting and pasting into this thing, as well as a few hundred thumbnail sketches.

Its a great small sized journal/sketchbook for watercolours. The front cover is dark brown with a bit of a sheen to it and the cover you see in the picture with all the text is just a piece of paper that can be ripped off.

I bought this because the 3 pack of Arteza watercolor journals I bought are not that great. (slightly above Canson quality) I bought the Strathmore Visual Journal and while its a bit smaller, its quite portable and I immediately liked painting on this paper far better than the Arteza watercolor spirals that are 8.5 x 5.5 (or similar) The paper seems to be the same on both sides so that is great for filling it up. I will absolutely be getting more of the Strathmore Visual Journal (at least until i find better for cheaper :D)

I love this notepad for watercolors and oil pastels. The pages are thick and sturdy. The pages will warp if you use too much water in your paints but if you apply lightly, it wont.

I love this watercolor journal. Good size to travel or to do small watercolor sketches. The paper can hold a good amount of water and the colors react good on it. I will buy again

This paper is AMAZING and so smooth. I use this is for my Zentangles and art journaling. It is the perfect size to carry around in your bag or purse. Ive only used pen and pigment ink on this paper and everything goes on so smooth. Its almost like your pens glide across the paper. So far I have not had any issues with the ink leaking through.
