> 3 dayMy boyfriend loves having something smaller to practice and do rough drafts of larger watercolor art without wasting larger paper. The heavy duty design of this journal makes watercolors, acrylics, and your heaviest designs stay in tact and handy. Worth the price, lots of pages!

> 3 dayMarkers: I bought this hoping it would be ideal for copic markers and it does pretty well for coloring, but not really great for finished pieces or blending, but it isnt impossible. I was able to do so it just took a bit more work. (From my experience as least maybe I need colors that are closer to one another which helps alot if your using few or random colors) The paper does suck up the ink pretty fast and it surprisingly takes quite a bit before it bleeds through the other side so thats a plus. Pencils/Ink I figured since it didnt work to well with me and my markers I thought I could use this for something else instead of giving a bad review and being salty about it. This is probably the best paper Ive ever used for pencil drawings and ink practice for lining art. The paper is so smooth so the lines are crisp and clear. No gritty texture at all which I find pleasing and graphite doesnt hardly smear unless you intend it. Lining pen ink doesnt bleed or really smudge at all unless intending to. Colored pencils: Havent really done too much with colored pencils, but Id advise looking else where or look for paper with tooth/some texture. The pencils look grainy and you cant layer alot before it gets waxy or glossy. (I use prismacolors, so I take my supplies in account) You could use this maybe for practice, but like I said Id look elsewhere or look at Strathmores textured paper Others: I havent used watercolors on this, but this paper doesnt seem promising maybe if you do a light wash. Could most likely handle some oil or acrylic if used in gentle amounts, no more than that though or you risk the paper getting soggy, moist, or warping. Some of the effects depend on the supplies you use so please keep that in mind.

> 3 dayI first do an acrylic wash, then paint on these sheets. Sturdy enough to sell each painting individually, but all organized for easy on the go work. I now own three of them.

> 3 dayI got the slightly larger sized notebook. Its great for portraits and fits easily in my tote along with my water color palette set. If youre a beginner but also kind of good, this is the watercolor pad for you. I use it with my Arteaza travel watercolor paint set.

> 3 dayAm I the only one who received a journal with one page missing? It says on the cover that the journal contains 22 pages but I counted and there is only 21 pages. I am kind of disappointed. But overall the journal is great.
