A nice journal for my use. Like the weight of the paper and it lays flat although the spiral binding is bulky. Im used to flat binding but the journal will be a good travel piece. Like that the cover page can be removed and a nice brown cover remains.

So far, so good!

I first do an acrylic wash, then paint on these sheets. Sturdy enough to sell each painting individually, but all organized for easy on the go work. I now own three of them.

Nice and thick paper. Seems like it can withstand a lot of water without pilling. Paper is off white in colour. Used it for some dry on wet and am happy with results.

I love these journals.

good for warm-ups

My favorite. size is good for me, light weight book, bright white paper holds paints well ,easy to carry, uaseit for watercolor paints and pencils.

I love it! Its perfect! Hard covers on both front and back of a pretty mottled brown, giraffe-like pattern. The top cover with Strathmores brand on is paper so you can tear it right off and have a lovely, professional looking art journal. The paper is thick and high quality. I havent used any wed mediums on it yet but it certainly seems like it would work wonderfully. Sharpies do bleed through and some markers, so Ive solved that by collage on the back side of my drawings. Easy peasy. The spiral lets me lay it flat which was a requirement for my art journal. Just cant beat this quality for this price!
