> 3 dayThis umbrella should go for half its price. Its a cheaply made umbrella that Im guessing will not last more than a few months. Every part of this umbrella shakes and jiggles right out of the box. Theres definitely better out there.

> 3 dayThis Tote Auto Open - Auto Close Umbrella works really well. I have tried many umbrellas claiming open/close features that only opened. This does both well and has held up for months. It is perfect for one person and good for two people. It can store in a briefcase.

> 3 dayThis is the most amazing umbrella! It opens with the touch of a button to a size big enough for a grown man. The fact that it then closes with just a touch of the same button is even more amazing. People beg to try it for themselves. You do have to shorten the handle and wrap it up in the velcro strap for yourself but come on...it cant do everything. Its small size and discreet carry cover keep you from looking like Mr. French or Mary Poppins. A definite must have for golfers, students, and anyone else who might be caught in the rain! 5 Stars for sure!!!

> 3 dayI keep this item in my car just in case it rains. Its compact but yet offers good coverage. I like totes umbrellas and this one does the job.

Greater than one weekHave been buying totes umbrellas for many many years. Needed a couple of extra large ones so got two of these. I find the handle material on these to be much more slippery than every other kind of Totes umbrella I currently or have ever previously owned. Its somewhat annoying. I might try to coat the handle with a layer of glue or maybe wrap some paracord around it or something like that. Edit: I am reducing a star. The handle material is just too slippery. As I stated above, it has less grip than my dozen or so prior Totes umbrellas. It is not possible to wrap the handle with paracord - it is too slippery a handle and the taper prevents a good paracord wrap. Similarly, it is not possible to wrap with hockey tape. A thin layer of gorilla glue helps. But the bottom line is that sadly I will need to find a new brand of umbrella to buy.

> 3 dayI had grown tired of relying on a compact folding umbrella. While a compact umbrella folded away nicely into my work bag, it simply wasnt wide enough to shield all of me from the rain. Worse, if I tried to orient the umbrella to cover my shoulders and self all the way, my work bag hanging off my shoulder and to the side would get wet. So I decided to err.. splurge $23 on this umbrella. And I can safely say Im satisfied. The best thing about this umbrella is how it opens up to a generous, all-encompassing golf size, and yet folds into a length thats not much longer than a compact umbrella. The 14.5 folded size fits very easily into my laptop bag (which is supped to house up to a 15 laptop). The fabric is certainly waterproof, the handle seems solid, and the open/close button mechanism seems reliable. The only thing I wished they improve is the slight looseness or play exhibited by the tensioned open/close mechanism (cicular part you hold and pull down to close the umbrella to folding height). Theres a certain springiness to it as I walk around that gives me the feeling it might turn rickety one day. But so far it works well and keeps my dry without me having to constantly aim the umbrella over myself. PROS: + The open size is spacious, and the folded size is easy to tote around + Push-button for open/close is convenient + Distinct blue colour looks nice CONS: - Open/close mechanism feels a little loose

> 3 dayIts not great quality, but definitely sturdy enough to hold up in downpours and heavier winds. I used it during a month-long trip to India during monsoon season and it was great. Its quite large, so gives a good protection area. I also like the blue and white design, which is somewhat unique compared to all the black umbrellas around. The one downside is that its fairly large when it folds down, but thats minor.
