> 3 dayBest umbrella Ive ever bought. Very sturdy, folds small yet the coverage is very wide when opened. Had a big gust of wind that put this brella to the test recently. The wind almost blew the brella out of my hand despite holding firmly to it. To my fortunate surprise, the brella never flipped over like most umbrellas do with the slightest breeze. Im happy to say, this was certainly worth every cent! It repells water well and fits in my tote bag to carry around daily.

> 3 dayI keep this item in my car just in case it rains. Its compact but yet offers good coverage. I like totes umbrellas and this one does the job.

> 3 dayI really like this umbrella and it arrived right before I had to go out in the rain. My only issue is I didnt receive the color I ordered. I ordered the beige and black one but received an all beige one.

Greater than one weekThis is a large umbrella. It folds very compactly for its size. The design is well thought out. The handle is relatively comfortable to hold, and the auto open auto close feature is extremely useful. This feature means that you press the button once to open the umbrella, like any spring-loaded umbrella, but pressing the button again collapses the umbrella automatically as you get into a car or pass through a doorway. Once you are inside and dry, you can simply compress the telescoping component and it is ready for use again. Well worth the cost, this umbrella has yet to give me a reason to wish I had bought any other.

> 3 dayIt works beautifully -- and its big enough actually keep a person dry in a rain storm. The auto open/close is not just nice to have, it is a wonderful necessity.

04-06-2025Only used once, during a merely moderate but direction-changing, gusty downtown wind. The moderate, inconsistent wind direction inverted this umbrella several times during the 20 minute walk. Finally, upon getting indoors, I saw three of the eight staves had became significantly bent. Note: My wife and daughter had other brand umbrellas which also inverted but which did not suffer damage to those umbrellas staves. The company gives no exchanges or refunds unless umbrella is returned in perfect condition within 30 days -which have already lapsed for me. Going forward, this umbrella still functions, but its fragile susceptibility to further damage (or complete failure?) from any direction-changing, moderate gusts makes me give future buyers this warning/recommendation: -->Pay more and get a more durable umbrella or be prepared for frequent umbrella inversion and resultant damage to (or complete failure of) the umbrella.

> 3 dayHave been buying totes umbrellas for many many years. Needed a couple of extra large ones so got two of these. I find the handle material on these to be much more slippery than every other kind of Totes umbrella I currently or have ever previously owned. Its somewhat annoying. I might try to coat the handle with a layer of glue or maybe wrap some paracord around it or something like that. Edit: I am reducing a star. The handle material is just too slippery. As I stated above, it has less grip than my dozen or so prior Totes umbrellas. It is not possible to wrap the handle with paracord - it is too slippery a handle and the taper prevents a good paracord wrap. Similarly, it is not possible to wrap with hockey tape. A thin layer of gorilla glue helps. But the bottom line is that sadly I will need to find a new brand of umbrella to buy.
