> 3 dayI had grown tired of relying on a compact folding umbrella. While a compact umbrella folded away nicely into my work bag, it simply wasnt wide enough to shield all of me from the rain. Worse, if I tried to orient the umbrella to cover my shoulders and self all the way, my work bag hanging off my shoulder and to the side would get wet. So I decided to err.. splurge $23 on this umbrella. And I can safely say Im satisfied. The best thing about this umbrella is how it opens up to a generous, all-encompassing golf size, and yet folds into a length thats not much longer than a compact umbrella. The 14.5 folded size fits very easily into my laptop bag (which is supped to house up to a 15 laptop). The fabric is certainly waterproof, the handle seems solid, and the open/close button mechanism seems reliable. The only thing I wished they improve is the slight looseness or play exhibited by the tensioned open/close mechanism (cicular part you hold and pull down to close the umbrella to folding height). Theres a certain springiness to it as I walk around that gives me the feeling it might turn rickety one day. But so far it works well and keeps my dry without me having to constantly aim the umbrella over myself. PROS: + The open size is spacious, and the folded size is easy to tote around + Push-button for open/close is convenient + Distinct blue colour looks nice CONS: - Open/close mechanism feels a little loose

> 3 dayWorks well but theres noticeable slop when open which is why I took off a star. I bought a smaller no-name umbrella to keep in my vehicle and it seems to be better made than this.

> 3 dayI had my previous Totes umbrella which I purchased at Macy’s for 15 years and the automatic open and close snap broke. I ordered this from Amazon and did not even last 6 months. I cannot figure out if Totes has reduced their quality of product or was this a cheap Chinese imitation. Either way sending to Totes for replacement. If it’s a fake Totes I am sure they will let me know. Will update later.

> 3 dayLook at the massive number of virtually 5 star reviews for this well-made umbrella. It really says it all. And now please add my voice to the choir of happy buyers of this umbrella. It is made FAR better than any other folding umbrella Ive purchased in the last 20 years. Im a man, and this is an umbrella that is not made like so many other girly, lightweight, small handled, flimsy, and soon-to-break folding umbrellas. Im so pleasantly surprised by the quality, weight, and LIFE-TIME warranty! Are you kidding me? Even the ribbon velcro band you use to roll the umbrella back together for packing...is 2 inches WIDE, well stitched to the umbrella, and perhaps most amazing of all, actually LONG enough that you dont have to strangle the umbrella to BARELY make the velcro reach to band it securely! I KNOW you feel me on this, lol. Finally, for the very reasonable price...this is a BUYING no brainer to beat the rainer!

> 3 dayBeen a fan of these umbrellas because they are compact enough to store in my backpack without adding significant weight. They are durable as I have owned one for at least 2 years before having issues and the fact that Totes offers a lifetime warranty on these makes these a smart buy. It’s been years since I bought a new umbrella. Whenever my umbrella starts having an issue, I send it, my warranty tag, located inside the umbrella, along with a $5 money order to Totes for shipping and they send a replacement.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is very nice. Its larger than most of the folding umbrellas but fits nicely in my backpack. I gave it only four stars for two reasons. One, its not really golf size. Two, the metal framework could be a little sturdier, but none of the folding umbrellas are any better. Dont let these two comments deter you from getting one of these. If you like to carry a folding umbrella, this one is a good choice. Yes, I would buy it again.

Greater than one weekNothing like a totes umbrella. I found they are long lasting & sturdy on a regular rainy day. It did flip inside out in a windy rainstorm, BUT it didnt break in any way. I flipped it back down without issue. I have another totes umbrella that Ive had for 10 years! Its a little dirty, but still works perfectly. Push the button to open & push the button to close. This works great if your other hand is full.
