> 3 dayWorks well but theres noticeable slop when open which is why I took off a star. I bought a smaller no-name umbrella to keep in my vehicle and it seems to be better made than this.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is great, I am a tall guy and small umbrellas just dont cut it for me but this is large enough to comfortably fit myself and another without getting wet. The construction on this is also great and it comes with a lifetime warranty against defects. I used it in moderate winds and it didnt budge. Another great thing is how compact it gets, about 14 inches long which sounds long but for a canopy this large its great. The button to collapse the umbrella is slightly recessed so it isnt much of a worry that you will hit it when you are holding it. Also for the first time ever an umbrella I have folds back to the size it was when I got it, the thing actually fits back into the nice nylon carrying pouch that came with it. This nylon pouch is nice for when you go in somewhere and need to put away the umbrella, it seems to be waterproof as well and doesnt really leak water.

> 3 dayI had my previous Totes umbrella which I purchased at Macy’s for 15 years and the automatic open and close snap broke. I ordered this from Amazon and did not even last 6 months. I cannot figure out if Totes has reduced their quality of product or was this a cheap Chinese imitation. Either way sending to Totes for replacement. If it’s a fake Totes I am sure they will let me know. Will update later.

Greater than one weekI love this umbrella! I had three same one for about 4 years before I finally left it someplace and had to replace it. It does everything you could want in a compact umbrella: folks up small and opens big. It fits readily in my briefcase. Pushbutton open and close is super convenient when you only have one free hand. Extremely durable and made from quality materials. Its worth a few extras bucks over the cheap substitutes you can buy on the street.

> 3 dayWhen open, this umbrella certainly gets the job done by keeping you dry and is large enough to keep another person dry as well. It has a push button feature to open which is convenient but, wish the button would work to close the umbrella, as you have to unlatch it as with any standard umbrella. Also, this umbrella when completely stored and bundled up, its a little thick and heavier compared to your standard compact umbrella, but go figure, at least itll fit in your bag compared to your regular golf umbrella which you have to carry around like a cane.

> 3 dayI like this umbrella - it is a golf-sized umbrella, but retracts to a size that is small enough to carry in a briefcase / backpack. I am hard on umbrellas, though and I worry that Totes got this combination by using as thin a gauge of metal for the spokes and handle as possible - it feels flimsier than other Totes umbrellas Ive purchased. (I think Totes is one of those companies that will warrant their products with a lifetime guarantee - Ive had the opportunity to avail myself of this with Totes, but I only feel comfortable with one replacement per one item purchased; you cant expect too much from an umbrella, after all.

> 3 dayI love this umbrella, it is the second one I bought. I only think that the handle should be better in terms of quality When time pass it get sticky as a lot of plastic do

Greater than one weekThis is a large umbrella. It folds very compactly for its size. The design is well thought out. The handle is relatively comfortable to hold, and the auto open auto close feature is extremely useful. This feature means that you press the button once to open the umbrella, like any spring-loaded umbrella, but pressing the button again collapses the umbrella automatically as you get into a car or pass through a doorway. Once you are inside and dry, you can simply compress the telescoping component and it is ready for use again. Well worth the cost, this umbrella has yet to give me a reason to wish I had bought any other.
