> 3 dayIts been almost a year since I bought this and so far its excellent. its really big, but compact when collapsed, its as big as my forearm and can be carried easily in a backpack. BUILD QUALITY: 10/10. Top notch. Stainless steel armature, rubber handle for a good grip. Overall, well made assuring it will last much longer than other cheap umbrellas. PORTABILITY: 8/10: Well, its a big umbrella so its heavier than others. But giving its size, it collapses really well. EASE OF USE: 9/10: Really, how hard is it to use an umbrella? Anyway, it opens from the press of a button and collapses the same way, you need to manually pull the runner to shorten the shaft at its default compact position, its a little tougher than other umbrellas though. VALUE: 10/10: For less than $30 its a great value. You can share the umbrella with someone else, even a group of 4 can be inside it. The build quality will make this awesome umbrella last for several years!

> 3 dayThis is a large umbrella. It folds very compactly for its size. The design is well thought out. The handle is relatively comfortable to hold, and the auto open auto close feature is extremely useful. This feature means that you press the button once to open the umbrella, like any spring-loaded umbrella, but pressing the button again collapses the umbrella automatically as you get into a car or pass through a doorway. Once you are inside and dry, you can simply compress the telescoping component and it is ready for use again. Well worth the cost, this umbrella has yet to give me a reason to wish I had bought any other.

> 3 dayThis umbrella took me a while to find; even though I searched Amazon, I didnt see this one. A website praised it, and provided a link, so I gave it a shot. Ive only used it once, but its much better than my last umbrella. Its as large as my old umbrella when opened, yet its several inches shorter when closed, so Im able to fit it in my bag. Also, it has a large flap to keep it closed, whereas my last umbrella had two small straps to perform the same task - and didnt do it nearly as well. And maybe its because its brand new, but more rain seems to come off it when you flick it dry, so it doesnt drip as much when youre on the subway. Very pleased with it so far

> 3 dayThis Tote Auto Open - Auto Close Umbrella works really well. I have tried many umbrellas claiming open/close features that only opened. This does both well and has held up for months. It is perfect for one person and good for two people. It can store in a briefcase.

> 3 dayThis is a well made umbrella, and I think its a good buy for the money. My only complaint is a small one, but as a woman, I found the umbrella to be a tad bit heavy to carry in a purse, not bad, just a bit heavier than my last umbrella. Also, it is a little bigger in circumference than I would have preferred. i.e. when the umbrella is closed, you know how sometimes you just want to carry it in your hands for a quick walk when it isnt raining...I found it to be just a little too thick to be really comfortable and easy to carry. Again, not big drawbacks, but maybe thats why they call it a mens umbrella.

> 3 dayBest umbrella Ive ever bought. Very sturdy, folds small yet the coverage is very wide when opened. Had a big gust of wind that put this brella to the test recently. The wind almost blew the brella out of my hand despite holding firmly to it. To my fortunate surprise, the brella never flipped over like most umbrellas do with the slightest breeze. Im happy to say, this was certainly worth every cent! It repells water well and fits in my tote bag to carry around daily.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is pretty great for students. Its wide enough when open to shield a person and a backpack, yet small enough when closed to carry around daily. It will most likely fit in the side, water bottle compartment, if you need a place to stash it when its not in use. It has withstood the admittedly mild Californian climate so far, and Im sure it will continue to do so. While its true that the underside may feel a bit damp after using it in the rain, it has never led to actual water droplets leaking in so far. Also, it may be a bit large while walking on the sidewalk though, so be careful not to poke people as you walk by!

> 3 dayI love this umbrella! I had three same one for about 4 years before I finally left it someplace and had to replace it. It does everything you could want in a compact umbrella: folks up small and opens big. It fits readily in my briefcase. Pushbutton open and close is super convenient when you only have one free hand. Extremely durable and made from quality materials. Its worth a few extras bucks over the cheap substitutes you can buy on the street.

> 3 dayWorks well but theres noticeable slop when open which is why I took off a star. I bought a smaller no-name umbrella to keep in my vehicle and it seems to be better made than this.
