I needed an umbrella that would not let the rain drip on my back and feet. This umbrella does the job perfectly. You know it works when people ask you where you got it. However... Today, for the first time, I was using the umbrella while running errands. As I was getting back into my car, I pressed the close button and then tried to pull the black part down the shaft to lock it in the closed position. As I was almost at the bottom, the umbrella popped back out, cutting my fingers in several places. Use care when closing the umbrella because the arms are not very well finished and can cause paper cut wounds or worse if you are not careful. I am saddened to report that after 5 months, the thread holding one of the arms in place has broken and there are two spots where the material has worn through or been punctured.

This umbrella is very nice. Its larger than most of the folding umbrellas but fits nicely in my backpack. I gave it only four stars for two reasons. One, its not really golf size. Two, the metal framework could be a little sturdier, but none of the folding umbrellas are any better. Dont let these two comments deter you from getting one of these. If you like to carry a folding umbrella, this one is a good choice. Yes, I would buy it again.

I really like this umbrella and it arrived right before I had to go out in the rain. My only issue is I didnt receive the color I ordered. I ordered the beige and black one but received an all beige one.

looks and feels very solid; have not tested the durability in wind yet.

Great umbrella for when you need something that provides a lot of coverage but packs up in a portable package. I decided to buy this since my city gets pretty windy when it rains, so smaller umbrellas were just leaving my pants entirely soaked. At the same time, I needed something a little more portable since I like to carry my umbrella in my bag whenever the forecast suggests it might rain. This umbrella fairs perfectly in the stopping water from touching you from above category, as do most other umbrellas. This one has the significant advantage of being huge and being able to cover you, your personal items/bags, and one other person and their belongings comfortably. In fact, you can easily squeeze three people under it and not get wet if you dont have any belongings. You get all that coverage AND it packs up into the size of a regular small folding umbrella. However, since its that large and folds, its a little weak when it comes to wind. I often feel it moving in my hands when Im walking in wind, and anything more than 10-15 mph winds will be hard to hold it up straight in. So far, Ive had it flip inside-out 4 times, so I have to admit that its not the greatest umbrella to bring out on a windy day. However, I have to admit that Ive never had an umbrella collapse on me 4 times and still keep working. Perfectly. Without any issues. Even the auto open/close. So its tough. Buy this, but not if your city is very windy.

bought 3 two of the umbrellas after two winters have issues: one doesnt fold anymore the other has mechanical issues with the button - the button gets stuck and its hard to open or fold the umbrella overall - their size is great and while they worked I loved using them note that windy conditions are not suitable for this umbrella

When open, this umbrella certainly gets the job done by keeping you dry and is large enough to keep another person dry as well. It has a push button feature to open which is convenient but, wish the button would work to close the umbrella, as you have to unlatch it as with any standard umbrella. Also, this umbrella when completely stored and bundled up, its a little thick and heavier compared to your standard compact umbrella, but go figure, at least itll fit in your bag compared to your regular golf umbrella which you have to carry around like a cane.

This is a beautiful umbrella with an amazing auto open and close action. Id expect it to last a long time. I would give it 5 stars except for 2 small issues: 1) The handle could be designed better. Its kind of stubby and fat and when the wind is blowing it takes a good amount of force to hold on to it - it just kind of rotates in your hand. Those with grip strength issues or weak wrists might want to look elsewhere. I would instead prefer a thinner longer handle with finger notches. 2) The sewn-on strap to wrap up the umbrella for storage is about an inch too short. I really have to wrap it up tight to make the 2 Velcro patches meet - like really tight! Hope this helps. Otherwise a great umbrella.

This is a large umbrella. It folds very compactly for its size. The design is well thought out. The handle is relatively comfortable to hold, and the auto open auto close feature is extremely useful. This feature means that you press the button once to open the umbrella, like any spring-loaded umbrella, but pressing the button again collapses the umbrella automatically as you get into a car or pass through a doorway. Once you are inside and dry, you can simply compress the telescoping component and it is ready for use again. Well worth the cost, this umbrella has yet to give me a reason to wish I had bought any other.
