Still works well after 1 yr plus.. Closing is abit not as smooth as before but thats due to accidental misuse by friends & family who dont understand auto close n open. Otherwise, it is a great product, will buy again after current one is retired.

I love a big oversized umbrella. I wanted one with a curved handle but I got this one instead because I couldnt find a curved one that I liked. The auto open/close feature is fantastic. It has made up for not having a curved handle umbrella. I would hook the curved part onto my purse strap when not in use so I wouldnt have to carry it. So far I havent missed that feature.

This umbrella is great - Ive orders about 4 of these over the years and they last a long time and are wind resistant!

Difficult to close with wet hands on a rainy day. Also a hazard is opens too quickly.

We bought for our daughter for college and we just moved her home and I asked her about it and she said it never would open up correctly so she never used it. Such a bummer.

this is my second one of these... my first one lasted 3 years of regular use, and would have lasted longer if i didnt set it on the floor to dry and if i hadnt destroyed the poor thing going out into a wind-storm to get a picture of a rainbow. oh well. im hoping to get 4 years out of this one, if i can remember not to set it on the floor for drying. this is the biggest canopy for the most compact umbrella that i could find. im 2m in height, and no other travel umbrella is worth it for me - i end up with a wet left arm, and soaked legs from the knees down. this opens into a proper golf-sized umbrella, but still manages to fold up and easily fit into my backpack. that being said, dont expect it to win any weight competitions... youll know youre carrying it. the little elastic wrist strap is kind of a joke, and i feel like the handle was a nicer rubber on the first one i had. but what can you do for under $30?

A bit bigger then the regular Totes which serves us well as my wife is in a wheelchair. That said it folds up nicely and is easy to carry and store.

Sadly this umbrella did not hold up; it broke during the first use rendering me partially protected

This umbrella is very nice. Its larger than most of the folding umbrellas but fits nicely in my backpack. I gave it only four stars for two reasons. One, its not really golf size. Two, the metal framework could be a little sturdier, but none of the folding umbrellas are any better. Dont let these two comments deter you from getting one of these. If you like to carry a folding umbrella, this one is a good choice. Yes, I would buy it again.

This umbrella is pretty great for students. Its wide enough when open to shield a person and a backpack, yet small enough when closed to carry around daily. It will most likely fit in the side, water bottle compartment, if you need a place to stash it when its not in use. It has withstood the admittedly mild Californian climate so far, and Im sure it will continue to do so. While its true that the underside may feel a bit damp after using it in the rain, it has never led to actual water droplets leaking in so far. Also, it may be a bit large while walking on the sidewalk though, so be careful not to poke people as you walk by!
