> 3 dayStill works well after 1 yr plus.. Closing is abit not as smooth as before but thats due to accidental misuse by friends & family who dont understand auto close n open. Otherwise, it is a great product, will buy again after current one is retired.

Greater than one weekNot the smallest umbrella you will find but for me it hits that sweet spot between too small to do any real good when open and too large to be practical for anything this side of dueling. Opens to a size large enough to give a decent-sized guy and his bag satisfactory coverage, but can still be tucked in a larger backpack or strapped to the side of messenger bag. Construction is solid, handled windy days well enough, strong seems, smooth mechanisms and thicker fabric.

> 3 dayVery nice and sturdy umbrella. I had my first one for many years, but recently lost it somewhere in NYC and couldnt find it, so I order the same one again. The price, compared to the one before, is a bit higher, due to inflation I guess. You can open the umbrella all the way with one button, but you cant fully close it, as the advertisement suggests. Truth is the canopy will fold back but the shaft will not release down. You have to manually bring the shaft down to lock it in place.

02-06-2025I have purchased this particular umbrella repeatedly over the years since 2001. So you may ask, if it is so great, why do you constantly need to replace it. Well, usually after 3-5 years I usually have a problem with one of the spokes as a result of the wind blowing too hard and capsizing my umbrella. The two features that have consistently drawn me back are the portable size when collapsed and the golf size when expanded--the latter feature helped me tremendously during my undergraduate years. I would walk young ladies back to the dorm rooms because my umbrella could comfortably fit two people underneath.

> 3 daySeriously, it is a pretty good umbrella, as Totes usually are. I keep one in my bag for commuting and use it occasionally, but I have had to replace it every couple of years. I do not use it very often or for long periods of time, but it has failed. A good breeze will easily flip it inside out and it wont be long until one of the frame arms bend/break. For the money, I just keep buying new ones, as needed.

> 3 dayThis is a large umbrella. It folds very compactly for its size. The design is well thought out. The handle is relatively comfortable to hold, and the auto open auto close feature is extremely useful. This feature means that you press the button once to open the umbrella, like any spring-loaded umbrella, but pressing the button again collapses the umbrella automatically as you get into a car or pass through a doorway. Once you are inside and dry, you can simply compress the telescoping component and it is ready for use again. Well worth the cost, this umbrella has yet to give me a reason to wish I had bought any other.

> 3 dayDifficult to close with wet hands on a rainy day. Also a hazard is opens too quickly.
