I grabbed this after being interested in the smaller design and good reviews, as my Holmes dual window fan was old and falling apart, literally. However.. I am not that impressed with this. It was a pain to install, and I am waiting for it to eventually fall out of the window.. but DISCLAIMER... I live in a historic building in San Francisco, so I have old windows... is no slot for the fan to fit in., is just the wooden window ledge, and thats it.. drops right down to the exterior concrete ledge, Also, the bottom of the window isnt flat, it is angled for some reason, so it doesnt clamp down. I assume anyone with modern windows wont have an issue at all with this. It is a bit louder than I had expected, especially while on exhaust, it is actually a bit louder than my Holmes dual-window fan, as it makes like a rubbing type of sound when running, though it might go away...it is quiet, but enough to annoy me. I do voice-over and narration, so one of the selling points of this was being able to run it while recording, which I cant do with my current fan. I dont know if it will get picked up or not by my mic yet. The lowest fan speed also seems too strong. However, this is most likely from being used to the dual-fan, but the lowest setting on this fan is equal to the high setting on my holmes, so getting hit with a lot more air than used to.. which I am sure will be great in summer, but right now, I wish I could just turn the speed down a bit more. WHile exhaust is an option, it is a lot louder, and I assume that is from air blowing off the window ledge, as I have very long ledges. The temperature control is very accurate. As far as Alexa, it wouldnt sync via the barcode, had to hold down the power button until the light flashed, then it found it and connected, but since, it just says device unresponsive. I reset the fan (power and fan direction for 6 seconds) and connected it back to Alexa, which worked again, but then it right away went back to device unresponsive...

I found this to be an easy installation with an easy setup and get it going right away. It is quiet, however, the amount of air it moves is not really that impressive. We live in the desert where I am trying to take advantage of getting cool air in the night to give the AC a break. This is good for a bedroom, but limited to that.

I must be getting old because it annoyed me I couldn’t find a really good fan. Actually just one that didn’t rattle or make ridiculous noise. This is the one! I found it! Good airflow, minimal height, no rattles. Intake and exhaust at the push of a button. Love it.

Easy for me to install. Wanted fan I could put in window and leave in place for season. I use it to bring in cool air at night and turn off and close house during heat of day, sometimes run portable AC in day if needed. This fan closes when it’s off to block most of outside air (will see how much heat is actually transferred when days get warmer but we had some nights in low 50s when I didn’t run fan and my room temperature stayed the same overnight so unwanted cooler air did not seem to be coming in). Also I have it installed in my bedroom, and like the privacy of not being able to see through the fan from the outside when it is off or operating. Ever since I installed the fan our weather has turned cool so haven’t needed to use it. I did turn it on a couple of nights for a few minutes on low speed just to try it, and it did lower the temperature of room and seemed to be circulating the air well.

I purchased this fan to replace a cheaper one that didn’t even live for a year. This one is so much better! It is a little loud when on full blast, but if you just want some air circulation, it’s not bad at all. I have tested the temperature control, it worked as intended. The fan looks good, works well. Can’t complain about anything.

It compliments the room. It runs quietly. It is perfect for my needs.

Wound up giving this to my sister. She says she is very happy with it, especially that it is quiet and has a low profile. It can also used with a screen to keep bugs out; this is a good feature. On the whole we are happy, but do have some complaints. It doesnt isolate the outside air as well as expected and is best removed from the window on cold nights. The foam blocks they include to seal air gaps are barely useable. We received a unit with a nonworking remote, however the manufacturer was great about helping us get a working replacement.

I ordered this fan to remove odors from my apt. It has a great exhaust and input. I really love the remote as well. The only thing I am not happy is the fan fitting the window. I had to rig other pieces to get a tight fit even with the included foam pieces. They did not stay in place. Everything is good now and it is a permanent fixture in my window.

First one I bought, arrived, tested it out before even installing in window, power came on all buttons worked but the fan never spun or even made a sound like it wanted to spin. Was disappointed!!! Decided Id try one more time. Sent the first one back, new one came in 2 days and this one worked fine. It is quieter than any twin window fan I have. I love the fact I cant see out through it and no on can see in so it offers great privacy. Im still tweaking the installation, the window I have it in isnt wide so there was only about 3/4 inch on either side. The blocks they give you to install on each side I had never seen before, and I could put the smallest on on one side, but the other smallest one was too thick to fit in the other side. I ended up taking a box cutter and cutting as deep as I could vertically on the front and back of the block, then took a smooth butcher knife and just sliced right through it. Took about 2 min and it fits great. My problem is in the window I have it in the fan doesnt fit ALL the way down - it goes down enough to lock it in place, but because of that I have about a 1/4 in little hole at the bottom where the expander blocks go against the fan - I will cut a piece of the extra blocks and fill in the hole. Over all Im very pleased with this fan, it looks great in the window, blocks air when turned off, does a great job of bringing in fresh air, or exhausting air, and is quieter than I expected. It is quieter than my bathroom exhaust fan which has a very low Sone rating. I will be ordering another one.

Fan installation was easy, battery for remote was dead, deleted a star for that. Window sealing spacers are the best Ive ever used, phenomenal material. Set it and forget it display plus minimal window opening for installation, happy with purchase thus far.
