Greater than one weekremote battery failed after 2 days- i replaced it. other than that its a nice fan, Quiet. can suck outside air in or blow inside air out with just a touch. Can be placed in and out of the window easily. the blocks that come with it are weird. they dont snap together or anything. I just used cardboard to block the rest of the window.

> 3 dayWound up giving this to my sister. She says she is very happy with it, especially that it is quiet and has a low profile. It can also used with a screen to keep bugs out; this is a good feature. On the whole we are happy, but do have some complaints. It doesnt isolate the outside air as well as expected and is best removed from the window on cold nights. The foam blocks they include to seal air gaps are barely useable. We received a unit with a nonworking remote, however the manufacturer was great about helping us get a working replacement.

> 3 dayI really like the slim design. But I was disappointed with how little air this fan moves compared to the more typical (and uglier) window units with two round fans—even at the max speed setting (4). I use it at night to cool down the room when the outside temperature drops, but its not working very well ... not surprising given how little air it pushes. It is also louder than I was expecting, with a bit of a clicking/whirring sound—even at the lowest speed setting (1). Once again, louder and more annoying than the white noise from the typical 2-round fan models. In summary: + great looks/design - does not move much air, not great for cooling even a small room - noisier than traditional window fans I am quite disappointed because I really wanted to like this product ... perhaps I received a faulty unit.

> 3 dayBecause the 4th video states they installed their fan vertically the instructions warn you not to do it. Because that video showed it vertically, I purchased this item. Now I have to go thru the trouble of taking it to a UPS store 45 miles away to return it!!! Otherwise, I believe it would have been a great fan!!!

23-11-2024Works well. Fairly silent and does manage to shift all the hot air out of a room in a few minutes. I mounted it at the top of my window in rhe computer room as that room gets hot and stuffy fast Maor gripe with it....you cant tell if its on or off. The power led stays on all the time, and the rest of the display powers off after a few seconds..fine..but you cant seeif its on or off. If the power led went red while powered down or something...but nope. Looks powered on even when off. Or off when on. Very annoying. But even with that ive ordered another to go under my desk. Its quiet enough for that and has low vibration. No more mosquitos chewing my elbows. Got the second one in black. Also pretty awesome. Can confirm they use the same code so the remotes are interchangeable and can affect two devices at once.

Greater than one weekI grabbed this after being interested in the smaller design and good reviews, as my Holmes dual window fan was old and falling apart, literally. However.. I am not that impressed with this. It was a pain to install, and I am waiting for it to eventually fall out of the window.. but DISCLAIMER... I live in a historic building in San Francisco, so I have old windows... is no slot for the fan to fit in., is just the wooden window ledge, and thats it.. drops right down to the exterior concrete ledge, Also, the bottom of the window isnt flat, it is angled for some reason, so it doesnt clamp down. I assume anyone with modern windows wont have an issue at all with this. It is a bit louder than I had expected, especially while on exhaust, it is actually a bit louder than my Holmes dual-window fan, as it makes like a rubbing type of sound when running, though it might go away...it is quiet, but enough to annoy me. I do voice-over and narration, so one of the selling points of this was being able to run it while recording, which I cant do with my current fan. I dont know if it will get picked up or not by my mic yet. The lowest fan speed also seems too strong. However, this is most likely from being used to the dual-fan, but the lowest setting on this fan is equal to the high setting on my holmes, so getting hit with a lot more air than used to.. which I am sure will be great in summer, but right now, I wish I could just turn the speed down a bit more. WHile exhaust is an option, it is a lot louder, and I assume that is from air blowing off the window ledge, as I have very long ledges. The temperature control is very accurate. As far as Alexa, it wouldnt sync via the barcode, had to hold down the power button until the light flashed, then it found it and connected, but since, it just says device unresponsive. I reset the fan (power and fan direction for 6 seconds) and connected it back to Alexa, which worked again, but then it right away went back to device unresponsive...

> 3 dayFast delivery, however, it came in damaged packaging. I was concerned with the content but it looked ok. So, I ran a quick test to make sure and it seems no internal damage. Will install it and see if it fits the window using the form blocks provided. Will update the review sometime later.

> 3 dayI live in an area that AC is not normal. But my bedroom is upstairs so on any sunny day the room is hot, summer, unbearable. I have always used the double window fans you get at the local hardware store, and they are better than nothing, but basically worthless, not too mention loud. I stumbled on this, I read the reviews, found them to be mixed, but decided to pull the trigger anyway. It is pretty spendy, but I have to say, I believe it was worth every penny. I love the lower profile, and the air blows deep into the room, unlike the others that seem to not make it much past about a foot. The sound on its highest level (4) is whisper quiet. I get real air draw on the out, and it flips with a double tap of the remote. I do not use the temp control. Now, while I give it 5 stars, and I recommend it, and love it, there is a design flaw, and that is in the foam blocks for getting a seal around it. I def had to mcgyver it a bit. They are basically stupid, but better than nothing. There are several reviews that discuss them, and honestly, they are not wrong. However, dont let it deter you from a great fan.

Greater than one weekI ordered this fan to remove odors from my apt. It has a great exhaust and input. I really love the remote as well. The only thing I am not happy is the fan fitting the window. I had to rig other pieces to get a tight fit even with the included foam pieces. They did not stay in place. Everything is good now and it is a permanent fixture in my window.
