> 3 dayI really wanted to like this laptop. Unfortunately, while its specs sound great, its way too unreliable. Some of the issues are minor like the fingerprint sensor working less than 10% of the time to more frustrating, typical behavior like freezing up on boot up or taking several minutes to cycle up, memory slow to respond so the cursor skips, etc.

> 3 dayPerformance is incredible for $900. Everything Ive done is extremely snappy, even while 6 of the 8 CPU cores are occupied running Folding at Home. The battery life, while not legendary by any means, is more than enough for me, though granted I probably get better battery life from my devices than most people do because Im blind and thus I can happily keep the screen brightness set to 0. My only gripes are the 8 GB ram and inability to find anywhere selling a 12 or 16 GB version with this generation of processor, and the fact I had to resort to editing the registry to access the High Performance plan and stop the laptop from losing network connectivity when it went idle, even though I turned every power saver feature like automatic sleeping off in the default plans. But those are minor annoyances all things considered unless your use-case absolutely requires more than 8 GB of RAM.

> 3 dayAt first this laptop works very good but then the Windows update killed the sound And the microphone function. I returned it after reading other people had the same problem

> 3 dayIf youre looking for a thin, light, laptop with a beefy enough processor to handle layout and design duties, as well as some gaming, this might be the laptop for you.

> 3 dayBeautiful, light, fast laptop. Real value for money. Ryzen 7 is quite powerful and the laptop feels sturdy although finely manufactured.

> 3 dayI bought this laptop and within less than a month it started to shut down randomly without warning. I knew to expect bad speaker sound and an overall mediocre experience (it is a budget friendly computer after all), but this issue is unforgivable.

> 3 dayI initially got this as a replacement for my Macbook Pro, however I was expecting much more. Nevertheless, the AMD CPU makes it speedy and quite a fun device to use both for gaming and work. However, the screen size is pretty small, the touchpads feel is not the best but its manageable.

> 3 dayIve used several different Windows laptops, and found the Acer Swift 3 to be kind of in the high middle of the pack in terms of its features and performance overall. Here are some pros and cons:

Greater than one weekI cant believe that I got a $1500 laptop for $900! It is the latest 4700U Ryzen 7 AMD processor, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB hard drive storage, 14 Full HD widescreen LED backlit display, raised keys on the backlit keyboard, and up 11.5 hours of battery life. I used it from morning to night before the battery ran down to 15% and I got a warning to plug it in. It is so lightweight that I can hold it in one hand, even though I have fibromyalgia. It is super slim too, very easy to hold and use. The processing speed is amazing! I cant say enough good things about this laptop, I just love it!
