The laptop is very light, compact and fast. Boot up time is less than 10 seconds. The new AMD 4700u is a fast CPU. The keyboard has a solid feel to it . The back lighting comes through the numbers on the keys but you can turn it on and off as needed. The computer has a great look and it feels solid for such a light laptop. The only thing I didnt like is how the charger adapter plugs into the side. It seems cheap and easily breakable due to the angle it uses to plug into the side of the laptop. For the price of $650 its a steal.

purchased 4 months ago as interface for a prosthetic arm. battery failed to charge and only alternative offered by Acer support is t o return for repair. after only four months use the is very disappointing. Acer service were not prepared to go off script even when they knew i would lose use of my prosthesis fo a month. they didnt indicate they cared. would suggest avoiding this product if you depend on a pc as I must.

Laptop was received in a timely fashion, however the Network Adapter was either internally corroded or was never installed to begin with (meaning the laptop cannot search for routers to connect to); leaving the laptop useless.

Totally easy to set up and get rolling and at an affordable price for a fast computer. Everything is very straightforward and its lightweight is something very desirable for me. I had a sticky key and contacted Acer support to resolve the problem. The online chat system was found to be lacking and not responsive. Upon the 2nd attempt and 45 minutes of banter, I was informed that I have to send my computer in to them to be repaired which due to Covid may take up to 20 days! Guess Im used to better service from other companies like Dell! This issue drops this rating considerably! However, I contacted Amazon afterwards and they totally came through with a new machine no questions asked. I am totally up with Amazon! Great job folks!

I was looking for a computer with good storage but easy to carry around. So far I have been happy!

Computer worked fine for the first day but every 15 minutes or so it would crash and shutdown and I would lose everything. Returned it the next day.

I have had this for a week only but so far I am happy with this unit. I do not use this for gaming, I use it for writing, keeping records, researching, and like that. It arrived two days early, unexpected but nice. The touchpad is more centered on this model, unlike my other Acer that was too far left, causing an occasional typing error. I do not see a problem with the heat or the screen as has been noted by others. It is very thin and very light, just what I wanted. In a month or two I might find a problem, if I do I will add to this but now I am very please with this laptop.
