> 3 dayWe got this for my daughter to use for her college work, and have been most impressed with its advanced CPU technology (the latest AMD Ryzen portable chip set as of this writing), speed, display, super light weight, excellent battery life, and reliability! Has a very solid feel to it and is an excellent value for the money - beautiful quality. It even works well for gaming too - highly recommended!

> 3 dayThis machine was a huge let down once received. The Ryzen 7 did not disappoint delivering very fast speeds and snappy device response times. But the rest of the hardware is junk in my opinion. The trackpad seemed loose when moving finger laterally from edge to edge. The screen has a terrible color arrangement and looks cheap as hell. Overall, the hardware felt cheap and generic which is part of the reason why I returned it for a refund.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this computer. As a bit of a techie, it has all the right specs to keep me happy. Loads in seconds and handles multiple windows like a breeze. Definitely recommend.

> 3 dayThe Acer Swift 3 is quite good. With an amazing keyboard, great build quality with a quite premium feel, and a very capable machine, for $650, this is probably the biggest bang for you buck. If there was one thing I have to complain about is the brightness of the screen. I wish the screen was a little brighter but it is still really good and again, its a $650 machine. Overall, I highly recommend this laptop especially for students for this price point.

> 3 dayLiked the feel of the unit, very lightweight, Much faster than my desktop at virtually everything. The battery lasts a long time and recharges are quick. Running Windows 10 Home and very stable. Lightning fast Intel Wi-Fi. Great value for the money. You wont be sorry.

> 3 dayI bought this laptop for myself after searching for a new one for my wife. She got a Dell Inspiron, BTW. I have a 2.5 year old Acer Swift 1 I purchased renewed from Amazon for $200 and it has outperformed my expectations at every turn. I lug it around everywhere. It has excellent battery life and just does the job. But with a Pentium Silver (a 2000+ on Passmark) it can be a little slow depending on what I am doing. And running PopOs is probably out. I use XFCE on it. The idea behind the purchase of the Swift 3 was to improve some things without sacrificing anything I already had with the Swift 1. I believe this laptop gets me a little closer to perfection. Here are the good and the bad:

Greater than one weekI am really pleased with this purchase. The computer is very Swift like its name says. My previous computer had 8 RAM like this one but only 1.8 GHZ and so sharing my screen during MS Teams / Zoom meetings the screen would often freeze up due to the low processing power (I have plenty of WiFi bandwith).
