this is the first laptop (or any computer) i have owned in recent memory where i did not start out with a fresh OS that i installed myself. There is (was) so much garbage (crapware) on it, it probably would have been faster to load a new m$-OS rather than remove all the stuff on there. example: six installs for the Acer experience etc.

Dont buy it

Pretty good battery life. Its not touch screen. And it has worked for college.

good clear screen, illuminated keyboard is sometimes a problem, but its easy to turn on and off. Battery life is excellent, I use the PC 3 or 4 hours per day, and need to recharge battery only twice a week. Ryzen 7 processor is speedy.

The Acer is perfect for my home use. I am not a gamer. I use it for internet access, basic letters and excel. The lower price point made this the perfect laptop for me.

Great laptop. I use it for college and it is super fast, metal body is awesome. I havnt had any trouble with. Better than a macbook in my opinion

An incredible value for the price point. AMD as a company is making processors that are cheaper and better performing than Intel and therefore the price of high quality devices is going down. This particular laptop is an example of that.

I am a Linux user, so I installed Linux Mint on the first boot. Never ran Windows, deleted it right away. Love the laptop, a solid build, and great performance!

I have had less than a year and it does not work! This computer will not turn on consistently, shuts off in the middle of working, and freezes frequently.

I haven’t had it very long but so far it is performing very well. I definitely recommend it! I love the long battery life. A lot of people say the display is bad but I don’t really have a problem with it.
