Just replaced my old ACER this one works great .

Pros and Cons:

I loved the laptop however, just past the 1 year manufactures warranty (June 22, 2021) it wouldnt charge. I went through several cords from Amazon which had to be returned. Ordered a cord from Acer and its the correct one however laptop is dead. Acer told me that if the power cord didnt work the motherboard would have to be replaced. My choice was $570 for repair or buy a new one.

this is the first laptop (or any computer) i have owned in recent memory where i did not start out with a fresh OS that i installed myself. There is (was) so much garbage (crapware) on it, it probably would have been faster to load a new m$-OS rather than remove all the stuff on there. example: six installs for the Acer experience etc.

I could not get pass a blue screen.

Installed xubuntu and the battery life is amazing! Light tasks like web browsing and word processing can exceed 12 hours of battery life, while gaming can have between 2 and 6 hours depending on the game. Its not a powerhouse for gaming, so 720p low settings to get a good framerate, but its battery life makes it fantastic for older titles. The lightweight design and size makes it great for taking back and forth to classes.

La computadora en general es muy buena, te permite trabajar de manera rápida y eficiente para uso escolar queda excelente. Tiene una autonomía decente pues con una carga completa puede llegar hasta 10 horas en modo de ahorro de energía. La he probado en algunos juegos no tan demandantes y los corre muy bien el problema es que no esta diseñada para esos trabajos lo que hace que se caliente demasiado.

I received the laptop in great condition and it performs great. HOWEVER, a few months after receiving it, it started making a beeping sound whenever the power cord or laptop was moved. I have to use it at my desk because if I use it in bed and I move even slightly, it beeps! The beeping eventually became CONSTANT and at the SLIGHTEST movement. All of the research I found says that the laptop is going in and out of charging, hence the beeping, and kept pointing to the issue being the charge port. After deciding that its a problem that I cant fix, that I cant afford to replace the laptop right now, and realized that I am long outside of the return window, I just resigned to having to hear this CONSTANT ANNOYING beeping anytime my laptop moved.
