Have always had ASUS products. Was a bit worried that it may already be dated based on release date, but straight out of the box it was ready to go. No updates required, and fast internet with easy user friendly access. No issues with the drops, etc. So, hopefully I have a few good years then on to another ASUS router.

Great router. Doubled the speed to my wireless devices. Easy to use. Great software package.

When this product is working it is awesome but when its not working which could be about 5 to 6 times a day it sucks. I love the parental control features there are available within this routers software. I also like the 8 ethernet ports that are available to you as an option.

Good router, easy and fast to install, very nice interface in the phone app. Big trouble for me : my old toshiba laptop don t detect my wifi network and it s bad. I tried everything. There s a incompatibility between the two. All others tech in my house detected it immediatly. So it s a good choice. You can press an on and off power button. I like this more than to always unplug it.

I have purchase several Asus routers, motherboards, and computers over the years. For the most part they have all been trouble free. This router is the one exception. Given the track record of years of dependable products having one go bad is acceptable.

I love the router! It extended the range of my network to where we need it plus their mesh works beautifully! Def worth the money!!

Great signal strength throughout 2500+ square feet.

I replaced an old RT-66 that I had added two APs to to cover my meager 2100 sgft house. The 66 had served well for 8+ years but wasnt working well int eh new house with the metal roof (Im guessing that was the issue). Wanted to update to a modern router and after a lot of research I settled on this one. Partly because of features and partly because Ive been using Asus for years and was comfortable with the features and interface. Since installation Ive turned off the two APs and I get good signal in all but the furthest corner of the house where it is a little weak. I may try out the AIMesh feature to get that covered.

I upgraded my Linksys EA8500 with this router and its night and day difference. The amount of settings is nearly doubled which is fantastic. 8 ports is really helpful. The App is fantastic which is rare for me to say. Nice performance increase on wifi as well!

one of the few best wifi6 routers so far and working smoothly with all of our 11ax and 11ac devices.
