> 3 dayI used the RT-AX88U for a week and its performance was good. However, if you have 1 Gbps or higher it is better to get the GT-AX6000 for about the same price. The GT was launched in 2022 and it has newer components with better performance. The 88U is from 2019 and its performance is not great if you have a 1 Gbps internet connection.

Greater than one weekWhat a phenomenal device. I was using my ISPs supplied device and had constant streaming issues (pixelation, drops, etc) and other devices that were in other rooms that couldnt use the 5G band, or couldnt even stay connected to the 2.4g band!

> 3 dayIm a long time Asus user and I am replacing a four year old Asus AC router. It works great but over the years the number of devices in my household has increased significantly (almost 50 devices) and many of them are Chromecasts streaming Hulu Live TV. The older router would max out on memory and CPU and sometimes disrupt our activities. I decided to upgrade to a router with more performance and decided to future proof it a bit and spend the extra money to get an AX/WiFi-6 compatible router.

> 3 dayWhat a piece. I just looked and the return window closed 13 days ago so I am stuck with a piece. I bought this as my last 3 ASUS routers have been great. This one was fine until I got 1gb internet service. Then the fun began. I tried all the setting on the different forums and still can’t get more than 500 mb down :( the rest are serious problems with the 5mhz band with this router, just read the reviews.so now I am stuck with a terrible router, I should have read the reviews first and believed them.

> 3 dayInstalled router. Easy job. Setup was easy as well provided the default options will enable all your attached wireless items to work. Takes a bit of time to check every device in your system. The app for this router took me a little time to find my way. Once I did things went smooth. I could make changes quickly and see if my devices would start working. Not a router issue but a technology issue old stuff new router. Have to figure what options are needed or not needed.
