I used the RT-AX88U for a week and its performance was good. However, if you have 1 Gbps or higher it is better to get the GT-AX6000 for about the same price. The GT was launched in 2022 and it has newer components with better performance. The 88U is from 2019 and its performance is not great if you have a 1 Gbps internet connection.

I originally splurged on a Nighthawk RAX120 that was buggy as heck. Random wireless drops, router reboots, etc. I quickly sent that back.

Solved all my problems with all my devices. The extra LAN ports is wonderful. I have 4 connected with room for 2 more. I dont feel like I am overloading the router at all. The hidden front USB port is very useful for desk accessories & phone charging. I especially like the fact that I can turn the lights out as I have the router placed front & center under my Alienware monitor. (see video) As you can see it sits perfectly on my Steelseries RGB Mouse pad.

This router works very well. It reaches all throughout my 2400 Square foot house and has plenty of ethernet ports on the back. I like to use ethernet for my televisions instead of wifi. The user interface on this router is easy to use and easy to find all the options you need. I especially like the fact that I can run a VPN right on the router so I dont need it on every device. It took a while to find the right service, but when I finally did I was very happy with the performance. This is a great little router!

My AX1100 had horrible signal, barely reached the cameras in my yard so I bout the AX6000 and Im very impressed. Speed and signal is wonderful. No lag when gaming

Giving this a one star rating for support only. Logs, configuration files, etc. supplied to support. Three weeks in and absolutely no intelligent response or suggestion.

Very so often I upgrade my routers an I use different manufacturers. ASUS has been a favorite so I bought this router an so far so good. Handles a lot of smart home devices with no issues. Interface is easy an using the mobile app is simple to use. Setup was a cake walk also. My WiFi signal is fast. Definitely a good buy.

The wifi works exceptionally and is just as described it’s genuine and has an good range thankfully everything works perfectly

Lots of privacy and security with this router. Tech support was excellent.
