Has been a tank since I purchased. Set up was a little tricky but worth the time spent. I would tell friends to grab one.

I replaced a router that was supposed to be top end, but it never really made me happy. I had to constantly reboot it, it seemed like if we had more than two or three devices online at once there was no power. Speed tests going into the router were great, but coming out were terrible. This was pricey, but SOOO worth it! I’ve been using it a couple of weeks so far and I’m thrilled. No slow downs, great speed times constantly, just an all round great piece of hardware. This is what Id been hoping to get with my last one (which was still $250+). This thing is great. I can’t make a claim to their customer service, but I gave them 5 anyways because this thing deserves a solid 5 stars.

Router does it all, it keeps cool its powerful and can handle anything you throw at it, I run custom merlin firmware and that literally doubles how much I like it, everything keeps up to date you have any type of function you wish to call on it.

Strong signal, good wall penetration, easy setup, easy app usage and fast speeds. awesome next gen router with backwards compatibility and great for gaming outside a gaming router. Able to be used as a extender.

Bought this as an upgrade to the one before it. The wifi signal is better than the previous one and it doesnt drop connection as oftem. The quad core helps handle traffic better as well.

This is a modern, very fast, high-end router. Im a little sorry that soon, probably before the end of this year, the latest Wi-Fi 7 class routers will appear on the retail market. Yes, I know that they will be very expensive at first, but still ... I quickly set up this router. It has a lot of settings, the router is just stuffed with functions. The router does not support 10-gigabit ports, but one 2.5-gigabit port is enough for me. I have one problem so far and it is that my Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8+ could not see the 6 GHz network of this router. And my PC on the MSI X570S motherboard perfectly saw this 6 GHz network. My smartphone and tab are fine. Obviously, it is necessary to reconfigure the 6 GHz network on the router thoroughly and once again.

This gave great service for the time that it worked. The average life of a router is 5 years according to research and sometimes as much as 8-10 but this one lasted just long enough to get past the warranty period-2 years. Purchased 11-19-2020 and it was dead this morning 12-1-2022.

Bought to separate my smart home devices from personal ones. Left all smart ones on the ac88u with wpa2 and moved every personal device to this ax88u to leverage wifi6 and wpa3. I’m on an xfinity 900mbs plan and easily hit the max every time while being on wifi. However, nothing new in the interface. Still lots of soft resets required when updating settings which is very annoying f.e. when you work with Mac filtering and device description updates.
