> 3 daynow I have a strong wifi signal everywhere compared to my previous router. Easy to use, with plenty of ethernet ports. It feels of high quality and able to handle several devices at the same time (both wifi and ethernet)

> 3 dayI did a lot of research and investigation into replacing my previous router. To me, this is just something that should just work. Once its setup, I dont want to have to think about it or manage it. So for me, this router is worth the price. Its easy to setup, and but still very configurable. I have had no issues since I got it and I am very pleased with its performance. I dont have benchmarks or raw data, only that my WiFi signal is no longer a point of concern with my internet connection. When I was shopping, here are the factors that I was looking for, and this meets all of those points:

Greater than one weekSecond Asus purchased. Added mesh feature with existing 86U. Added new router as mesh node just to get running quickly. My laptop is on the opposite side of the house, previous connection was 60 Mbps 4G wireless on a fiber internet. The hardwire connection to the 86u did max out at a gigabit. After connection to the 88u my wireless went upto 281/310 Mbps. Im on a macbook pro 2019. Impressed with the improvement for 5 minute setup. Im sure it will increase in speed when i add ax NIC.

Greater than one weekOn the fence with this router. I expected a lot more from it. I had Gigabit service and the router only puts out wifi speeds around high 400 to low 500 Mbps DL. Hardwire speeds are just fine, 880-910 Mbps.

> 3 dayOverall a good router. I wanted a router robuse enough to sent a signal to my SONO player located in another building about 30 to 40 feet away well it couldnt reach it. I also wanted the eight Ethernet jacks thats wonderful to have available. Router works well with Access Points that how I managed the SONO issue I mentioned. The router is fast for my need mostly streaming Netflix and music.

> 3 dayI was using an earlier Asus Router for the past several years. I purchased this latest release and very happy with the router. I am using the AIMesh feature of this router connected to two earlier models that are compatible. Setup was easy and working great.
