Like the fact I can print in black if wanted.

I have to get under my desk to plug in and unplug the power cord!! Not easy for us old Folks!!!

If there was ever a product that deserved 0 or negative stars, this is it! 1. I could not get a single page to print properly with the starter ink. I used the clean print head nozzle feature a few times to no avail. I ran out of the starter ink and had to order more. I was able to get color. It took me a month to get the black ink. 2. The ink suggested by Amazon on the printer page does not work with this printer! I had followed their suggestion. Unfortunately, I had opened the ink before I realized the mistake. More money wasted. 3. Once I received my black ink, I tried to print a document. It still wont print properly. I tried to clean the print head nozzles again. I tried the alignment. Nothing is making this thing print properly. In summation, I paid for the printer, the incorrect ink, and the correct ink. I spent a couple of hours trying to get it to print properly and have not been able to print a single document. By definition, this was a complete waste of time and money.

I truly like this printer and great price

I am not tech savvy but the set up was a no brainer, easy instructions to follow, perfect for a small home office, definitely a great value.

I normally dont write reviews until Ive had ample time to use a product but in this case Im going to. Ive finally given up on HP printers, theyre difficult to set up and are cheaply made. After the last one broke 8 months after I bought it I started looking into Brothers printers (although I didnt look deeply enough). I bought it Saturday, it arrived Monday at about 1 P.M. and I had it all set up by 1:45. Setup was easy, although the directions arent precise enough. When you make the wireless connection youre not told it was made, you just have to assume it is. BTW, I did the setup using a Dell desktop running Windows 10. Youre led to each step and everything, installation of drivers and software, etc, was done quite efficiently. The print quality is outstanding (remember, Im coming from an HP printer) and Ive never had a printer that prints so fast! Also, my Android phone and Chromebook picked up the wireless address immediately and I printed from both of them too. The reason Im not giving it 5 stars? Availability of BLACK ink. As many people in the reviews have stated, they cant find any. Unfortunately, I didnt pick up on that until I ordered the printer and it was enroute. I spent quite a bit of time trying to find black ink (really dislike Amazons search function) and did so, but Im am concerned that as time goes by its going to become a much bigger problem as more sites wont be able to stock it.

The size, quality, speed and everything was as I expected. Better than Hp.

Not easy to use

Such a great value for a quality printer. Im so glad that I ordered this. No regrets at all.

I have no interest in an ink subscription because my printing is too spasmodic and the functionality of this printer seems dependent on this subscription. The settings menu isnt available when the ink runs low and it is very challenging to buy ink if you dont want the subscription. I have never owned a brother printer before and will never buy another one again...
