Greater than one week...what an improvement over an Epson WF2760! Quieter, faster, and doesnt constantly drop the wi-fi connection. Setup was easy. Dont know yet about its long term reliability or ink costs, but so far were pleased.

> 3 dayWas easy to set up and I started printing right away. It’s very easy to operate with the app icons that the driver downloads. The only downside was that it did not include the cable to attach to the computer as it boasts and encourages wireless connection. I had one from previous printer so it was all good.

> 3 dayIn order to choose a successor to my HP Envy all-in-one inkjet printer/scanner, I read more professional and customer printer reviews than anyone ever should. My research found this to have a clear advantage over HPs output on Amazon. But Amazon reviews should always be taken with a grain of salt. The Brother printer was extremely poorly designed and actually requires you to have four non-empty cartridges to print anything. Just need a quick black and white shipping label? Out of luck. Thinking that the other cartridges could, like HPs, make a reasonable facsimile of some color youre running low on? Think again. The entire printer industry runs on a questionable model, where the companies take a loss in order to bleed you dry on ink. Ive read that printer ink costs more to acquire than human blood and I believe that, even if Im not sure how one acquires human blood. Anyway, Brothers printer is absolute trash and Ive since bought a new HP Envy. I was far more pleased with that and with the six months of free ink they throw in, it basically pays for itself. Never again will I waste time on a Brother product just because the average customer rating on Amazon is a half-star higher.

Greater than one weekPrints well the only thing I can complain about is trying to find ink. You have to order on line, so make sure you stock up.

Greater than one weekPrinter works well enough but black ink cartridges are not available anywhere even at Brother. Have only had the printer 4 months and just ran out of the black color. Have checked allover and everyone is sold out.

> 3 dayUPDATE! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRINTER!! As of April 11, 2023 there is ZERO supply of BLACK INK, this renders the printer USELESS! The manufacturer, the suppliers both primary and secondary have had no black ink either standard or large capacity available for purchase. The printer therefore, was rendered inoperable. My credit card did it was charged to tells me thats not a good enough reason to have a dispute for the charge. Amazon has finally credited the purchase back after 10 + weeks of communication! The printer cannot print anything because of not being able to obtain a black cartridge to insert. I would urge you to look elsewhere because it seems to be a manufacturing problem which needs to be resolved before you purchase this printer. Two disputes have been entered with Amazon and one with the manufacturer. I am returning this printer forthwith. The brother multifunction MFC 1010 W is an excellent dollar for dollar overall purchase. DOES NOT OPERATE WITHOUT ALL INKS IN PLACE! My problem with the supplier, Office Depot, is that they were very slow in shipping. Also Office Depot has NOT responded to Amazon-complaint, NO has Brother who tells me to wait 2 weeks multiple times.

Greater than one weekI recently purchased this and was having a heck of a time getting my iPad to print. iPad uses Air Print and no matter how it was set up on my network or printer I kept getting the error message “ No Air Printer found”. After many phone calls to my internet provider, Apple, etc. I finally found out from a very helpful Brother employee that it will only print if iPad is on a 2.4ghz network not an 5ghz and router is on 2.4-5ghz one. I was also told, which I did not know that all wireless printers can only use 2.4. Hope this helps someone.
