Brother MFC-J1010DW Wireless Color Inkjet All-in-One Printer with Mobile Device and Duplex Printing, Refresh Subscription and Amazon Dash Replenishment Ready

Sick and tired of HP, I decided to switch to Brother. The printer arrived quickly, packaged adequately, and was super easy to install. Ive always had problems connecting HP printers via Wi-Fi, so Ive always wired them to my computer. This Brother connected via Wi-Fi seamlessly and has held its connection since the initial install. Print quality is fine, scans are a touch on the slow side but thats ok, as long as it stays connected to my computer.

My father bought me this printer/all-in-one for my birthday. The printer is great. Easy to set up, prints well and great brother program for the scanning function with this device. The wireless function was very easy to connect to my network and works very well. I dont use the fax function, as I dont have a landline. The printer is quick and quieter than my old HP. The only thing I dont like about this, is the paper tray does not stay in the device; It comes all the way out each time you load paper. That makes it a little awkward to deal with, but not something that needs to be dealt with daily, so its not that big of a deal. Overall, great device and good value. Would recommend.

I purchased this printer on 18 Jan 2023. On 3 March 2023 I learned that there are no black ink replacement cartridges available anywhere on the market. NONE! I contacted Brother as the manufacturer because I believe they should stand behind their product. The agent admitted that no ink is available, would not provide me with an alternate printer (for which one can get ink) as an even exchange, and informed me that my printer was outside of the 30 day return window. I will also note that we have had continual issues with the connectivity on this printer. It is very intermittent. Works sometimes and other times won’t connect. Our wireless is solid for every other device in the house, so it’s definitely a printer issue. Thankfully, Amazon is taking a return and providing a refund. I will not purchase a Brother printer as a replacement, and have learned a lesson to make sure that replacement ink is going to be available for any printer I do purchase.

This printer is a mess keep on disconnecting from wifi over and over. This is the worst printer printer I ever used. Very disappointed ☹️

This is the worst printer I have ever owned. Every time I try to print labels, which I do quite often since I have to print mailing labels for my business, the printer jams. I even changed the labels I use, thinking that might be the issue, to no avail. And when I try to print photos, they come out streaked and blotchy, even though I am using photo quality paper. I want my old HP printer back! P.S. It does print on regular paper nicely and quickly, if thats all you plan to do!

Easy to use, clear crisp printing, GREAT price. I would HIGHLY recommend this printer.

Ive been a Brother Customer for years. This MFC-J1010DW ended all that. Ive spent SO MUCH MONEY on ink! This gobbles up ink like no other printer Ive ever purchased. And when ink gets low there is no over ride function so you cant print at all? Out of Cyan and are printing just Black and White? No Dice! It wont let you print. Heading over to Epson Eco Printing to try that out.

Ink is super expensive, generics wont work

Cannot buy ink anywhere for the printer, making it useless.

I replaced my old Brothers printer because of poor quality, the newer Brothers printer is excellent, Ive connected my pics to the wifi, it took a while but after the first pc was done the other one was easy.
