Dont listen to it takes you 15-20 Minutes to do the job if you do this job right you have a bunch of crap and prep to do and you must move many things out of the way before you can even begin if your plug has blown out in the rear of your engine. I have been avoiding working on these vehicles for years specifically for this problem, but I had a customer that was willing to pay for the tool. I used it repair a cross threaded on cylinder 8 Fillowed the steps no problems. Mechanic put in a autozone heli coil ofcourse it blew it out within a month and he told theres nothing else to do but replace cylinder heads or new motor

The inserts were not stainless like in the video I watched

There was a lot of disclaimers on youtube, saying calvan tools products off of Amazons. Has no quality control over the inserts. They where claiming when you installed the inserts it wasnt popularly threaded. So it was likely to get stuck in the cyclinder head. Well i didnt wrong into this problem. I drill out the old threads & tap the news ones. As well as enter the new insert with no problem at all. So calvan tools is awesome & great to use.

Great cuality tool and great precision I just hope it came with two drill bits. I wish it was a few dollars cheaper too but great tools are expensive. Got my F150 Harley Davidson truck fixed and thats awesome. Comes with a tutorial video to show you how to get the job done. Make sure to watch video and check yourself twice before start the job. Its a DIY project but do it right and professional because you deserve it.
