The most awesome product for the 5.4 lt. Ford engines from the late 90s to the early 2000s. This kit comes with instructions as well as an instructional video. You can also find videos on how to use it in YouTube. My mechanic had already told me that my truck needed a new engine since the spark plug that came out had already been repaired and couldnt take a second helicoil repair. I looked up a solution on the internet and by Gods grace I found this kit. I talked to my mechanic and he agreed to learn how to use it and do the repair. Perfect result. As I said, this little kit saved my truck! Highly recommended.

This kit comes with clear instructions on how to repair a blown ford 4.6L spark plug. Everything is laid out in easy to understand instructions. It us a very good value for the money compared to replacement of the cylinder head(s). Theres even an instructional video to guide you on how to use the repair kit. Im extremely happy I bought this kit and didnt go the cheap route. This kit made the job super easy and perfect. The cylinder sleeve kept everything lined up perfectly so there is no guessing. The same with the drill bit and the tap. It keeps you from going farther than you need so you dont cause more damage to your engine. I highly recommend this product and cant stress it enough to just buy this kit instead of the cheaper ones and save yourself alot of stress and frustration. It took me literally maybe 20 minutes from start to finish to complete this job using this set up. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I followed the instructions and it was easy and made a good, solid repair. Its a bit pricey but you get quality.

easy to use. fixed one spark plug on my 2003 F150 XLT with the 4.6 engine. directions are clear. Videos on the internet are available if needed. its hard to pay this price when only needed for one cylinder, but quite a bit less than the top of the line. fixed my vehicle a couple months back and truck runs fine without issue to this day. This was done in front of my garage with simple tools i already owned. took a little over an hour, but i was very cautious and took my time.

Striped out spark plug theeads

I had a broken plug in a Triton 2v head. Before using this tool, I used a 1/2 inch drill bit down the guide to cut out the plug shell after knocking the porcelin and electrode out. After that, the kit worked great, the whole job took an hour. Just be sure to used a magnet to get the shell shavings out of the cylinder after turning the piston to the bottom of the bore. Of course, blow the cylinder out a lot first. The steel shavings wont blow out, but a magnet on a stick will get them all.

I repaired a blown plug on my 2002 Explorer XLT 4.6. The kit is pretty easy to use.
