This tool is definately professional grade, high quality tooling. Very simple to use, good demonstration video and fail safes built in. This kit is definately not your common heli-coil!

It would be a lot easier to use if it came with a Normal size air attachment where it fits an air hose without having to buying extra parts to make it usable..

Perfect tool for the job

It worked pretty good with minimal disassembly. Has blown out yet. I did have an issue with the connector on the valve to verify the valves were closed but I modified it to make it work.

exactly as expected at a big savings

I had the #8 spark plug blow out for the second time on my 2001 Ford Super Crew 5.4L. I spoke to the nearest Ford dealers repair shop and they would do the helicoil but after talking to a few people and doing some research I found out with the helicoil there could be some compression loss. I was real happy to find the CalVan Tool. After reading reviews on it and speaking to a local mechanic I bought the CalVan and had that mechanic install it for me. He was real impressed with the tool and the ease of use. He told me he has done some helicoils in the past but had to remove the head. When I told him about the CalVan tool he thought he would still have to remove the head but when I got the tool in and showed it to him, he was real impressed. To sum it up, GREAT BUY and GREAT TOOL!!!!!

Tool was easy to use and works as stated. YouTube videos are better than the instructions.

This kit is very well thought out and works great. Once I got all the fuel injection wiring and plumbing out of the way the repair went better than expected. Just be sure to watch the enclosed video and pick up the extra items needed before starting the repair.
