Great idea but plug reach not as low as original

This think was easy to use and saved my truck!

Easy to use and so glad to have my truck back. Had one plug that popped out. Ford, in their infinite wisdom, used 4 to 5 threads to hold most of the spark plugs in on my 2009 F-150. Used this kit to make repairs on all the cylinders just to make sure I wouldn’t have this issue on another. 6 of the 8 had about 4-5 threads holding them in. Took about 4 and a half hours for a friend and I to complete. Highly recommend this kit. Added before and after pics, after pic is without the insert in yet.

Install helicoil in a 2 valve 2001 Ford 150 5.4 engine that the spark plug blew out. Its definitely easy to use if you will lay all tools out first. Truck has 300,000 plus miles.

This kit was easy to use and works great. I had my 03 F150 back on the road in a couple of days. I gave it a little extra time to set up after instal just to be safe. I am very happy with the outcome and would recommend the kit to anyone that is comfortable doing this type of repair.

Highly recommend, it did the job, would not recommend anything else.

This tool is definately professional grade, high quality tooling. Very simple to use, good demonstration video and fail safes built in. This kit is definately not your common heli-coil!
