It is a great product. Great quality

I have been avoiding working on these vehicles for years specifically for this problem, but I had a customer that was willing to pay for the tool. The job worked out well and took a matter of minutes once the coil and other items were moved out of the way. The work was done on an old work van and was luckily the second plug in.

This kit was fairly easy to use. Watch the included video, and it explains in fairly good detail how to do the job. It took me about an hour or so to do one cylinder head(4 plug holes). I still need to do the rest, but Ill do it when I have a little more time. I would suggest 2 things though: make sure you have a high capacity air compressor. No less than 30 gallons, but preferably higher. The other is a good and powerful air ratchet. You dont want it to bog down when making your cuts. I used my shop vac and a thin clear tube to vacuum out the debris from the cylinders after making the cuts. That worked better than trying to blow it out like they suggest in the video. I would give this 5 stars, but I had to buy the epoxy separately. They advise you what to use, but I felt for the price it should have been included. Just my opinion.

Product missing items. Missing an insert.

We had to repair our 2003 Ford Explorer when it blew a spark plug for a 2nd time after Heli coil did not work. So far we have been greatly pleased with the this as it continues to work with no issues.

The kit may seem expensive but it really isn’t when you consider how simple it is to use and it solved the problem with xtra parts in case it happens again with different plug
