> 3 dayRather than spends hundreds of dollars to convert family recordings to digital, this was a golden find. Also allowed me to preserve these family moments and enjoy them again. Without this, I’d have never heard my husband’s voice again after he passed away. When you send your vhs tapes in to be transferred they typically come back with music rather than the audio. Not with this. I was able to easily transfer video and audio! Best ever and so easy to use.

16-01-2025I was able to accomplish what I needed to. Its not a bad device, but the software is a little dated. With the pricing of the device Im betting there isnt a lot of development (which is completely understandable). I like the size of the device in contrast to other units Ive held/used in the past--its very compact.

> 3 dayThis is very simple device, almost plug-n-play. Following the simple setup, it worked 1st time right out of the box. This is great value for the money. If you just want basic copying and burning with a very few adjustments, this is the way to go. Like using Paint vs. Photoshop. Had a problem 2nd time tried using, emailed their customer service. They replied back next day and worked with me to resolve problem. OUTSTANDING customer service. I would thoroughly recommend them.

> 3 dayThe captured video is only as good as your VHS player. Hook up with S-video if you can. My oldest home videos look not so great, but they are almost 40 years old. The ones less then 10 years old turned out great.

> 3 dayI use Roxio Easy media Creator and Adobe premier Elements 2019 and have been doing video editing for 20+ years (mostly for personal use with occasional work for friends). This device and its software is pretty good for its price. I only used it to capture VHS tapes in MPEG format to import into Adobe Premier Elements. I wish it had more options for capture format - it only captures in MPEG4 format. I also had to unplug the USB device and re-plug it occasionally to get it to be recognized. I am using a custom built PC running Windows 10 (MSI Mainboard with 8 GB DDR 3, 500 GB SSD with several additional storage ATA drives and a 3.4 GHz AMD Phenom CPU). Overall, it does what I need it to and should work well for anyone just wanting to capture RCA or S-Video analogue input.

> 3 dayIt took me almost an entire weekend to figure it out, but once I did, it was great. I must say the directions booklet that came with this product lacked a few details as far as step by step instructions, especially for someone like me who is not computer savvy. After finally going on YouTube, a few details were cleared up for me and I was able to record all of my old family VHS tapes to DVD. Very relieved now that I no longer have to worry about these tapes deteriorating over time. It was worth the time and the $30 spent on the product.

> 3 dayI had a few issues, on my own fault, and the support that I got was very quick and helpful ! Quite frankly, I was surprised at how good it was. The product itself did have a few black frames copied to the DVD while I could see it on the TV screen, but this was not much and overall I am very satisfied !
