> 3 dayI was hesitant to buy because of some of the reviews with Windows 10, but Ive not had any problems. The instructions say to make sure you have .NET Framework 2.0. Had 3.5 so no problem. You have to turn off the screen saver, which disrupts recording. When you edit videos to cut out sections, the Export function needs to replay whatever you are saving, so this can take some time. Converts to WMV or MPEG. Had a couple of VHS tables to failed the app when I tried MPEG, but they recorded as WMV just fine. Is a basic app, but it works just fine.

Greater than one weekThis is very simple device, almost plug-n-play. Following the simple setup, it worked 1st time right out of the box. This is great value for the money. If you just want basic copying and burning with a very few adjustments, this is the way to go. Like using Paint vs. Photoshop. Had a problem 2nd time tried using, emailed their customer service. They replied back next day and worked with me to resolve problem. OUTSTANDING customer service. I would thoroughly recommend them.

15-04-2025I am using this product to transfer data from VHS tapes to DVDs. This product works great and is pretty inexpensive compared to other products on the market. I;m not real savvy about computers, so I had a little problem understanding how to use this, initially. I emailed tech support and they were fantastic. They responded within a few hours and worked with me until I got it right, even on the weekend and late at night. Outstanding support. I highly recommend this product. George

> 3 dayIm always leery of products like this when I read such disparate reviews. But I bought it anyway. I have some old movies on VHS that I want to bring over to MP4 and DVD. The install was very easy. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!! 0. DONT INSTALL THE USB YET!! 1. Install the driver. DONT REBOOT YET 2. Install the software. REBOOT WHEN DONE. DONT RUN IT YET! 3. Plug in the USB (I had it in a USB 3.0 port) 4. Run the software as administrator (or it wont work right I found out) 5. Do the configuration as shown in the booklet I plugged my VCR into the video/audio connections and fired it up. It worked great! The quality of the video is good considering the VHS I was copying isnt the newest. Audio was great. I have quite a number of VHS tapes Im going to move to electronic format. This seems to be the thing to do the trick. Id certainly recommend it. Hooked up

Greater than one weekIt was easy to set up and use, the only thing was on the vhs tapes I transfered there was a lag time between the voices and mouth movements, but it may have been the tapes at fault because they were so old.

> 3 daySet it up to transfer VCR over to DVD as all my VCR tapes are at the end of their lifes. Set up is really easy, no issues but I could not get a good burn to DVD on my computer. Tried everything I could think of with no success. Finally reached out to tech support. Very quick replies and over the course of a couple of days we were able to get the unit to burn to my DVD. Needed a slower burn rate which makes no sense to me but it worked. Now the issue is the quality of the burn. There is rather noticeable decrease in clarity. I give high marks to their tech support, top notch. Just be aware that you might not - your mileage may vary compared to mine - get the clarity that you would expect with this unit.
