This company’s customer service and technical support is absolutely the best! I would give them a 10 star rating if it was an option! Product is easy to use and they will assist you with any issues you may have. Our family’s videos are such precious memories and to have them on DVD is priceless. I am so very happy I selected this company’s product and HIGHLY Recommend them to everyone looking to transfer your videos to DVD.

I Like the product to save my old VHS tapes. Tech support is extremely responsive. I started the program with a problem uploading the VHS tape, no sound, picture only. They helped me figure out it was due to a previous program that did not totally uninstall. Fixed that. Editing is a little complicated, havent figured it out yet. Their burn to disc, for me, doesnt work. I quit trying after a number of attempts, even though Tech support had more ideas to try. The disc would not work on a DVD player and TV. I found I could easily drag and burn to disc in Windows. This process turned out great for me. Sound and picture and the DVD disc works on computer and DVD player. When I try to burn to disc from this program I get no sound from disc on DVD player. I give their tech support 5 stars just because of their effort, quick responses and determination to make it work.

Worked for me. Windows 10 Although the software COULD be a little more intuitive, and editing out portions of videos is CONFUSING. Dividing video into chapters is a tedious pain. I eventually just chose to automatically divide chapters by every ten minutes or so, just to save time. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5 It would probably be best to use this only for capturing your VHS tapes, then use other software for editing. But I finally got around to putting our wedding video on DVD.

Bought this to convert old VHS movies to DVD. The setup went flawlessly (Im running Windows 10). The directions were clear and easy to follow. Ive done a couple of conversions so far. No real issues with the conversion nor with the burning of the DVDs. The original quality of the VHS tape dictates the quality of the DVD, you cant make it better than the original - at least not with this software. Very happy with this product.

Works great as intended. I used it to convert 30 year old VHS tapes to digital format. The video capture works well and the DVD creating software is very straight forward. The whole process can be accomplished with a few clicks. However, it is a low key program. You would be better off using a more robust software such as Roxio DVD Creator.

Installation was pretty straight forward. I was able to connect all the pieces without a problem. I was getting a nebulous error from Windows when I tried to record. I reached out to their support team with the issue. In a very short time, I received a response from Tyler, a lead in their support department. He directed me to a couple of settings in Windows that deal with audio and video devices. Once I made his suggested changes, things started working. I had one other minor issue, and emailed Tyler regarding that one. He responded in less than 10 minutes, and was spot on with his assessment and recommendation. The tool gets high marks, but the support has been amazing!

It took several hours to properly install the VHS2DVD Wizard software and drivers, as the default settings were pointing to my webcam. The capture device only worked on USB 2.0 ports, not USB 3.0 (possibly being a bottleneck). The software requires the installation CD to always be in the CD-ROM even after installation. While functional, the video capture was very choppy with distorted audio. Also, after recording a full 2-hour VHS tape, the software froze and crashed, losing the last 7 minutes. I got slightly better video and audio sync using another software package with the capture device. Possibly it is limited by my 8-year old CPU, but web video and DVD play flawlessly. Playing the VCR directly onto my TV, I did not see these analog distortions. Hopefully buying the standalone SD recording unit will eliminate the buffering, although they all have mixed reviews.

Tried to contact support a couple of times and didn’t get any response. Fairly easy to use, but didn’t work as I expected. Video and audio not in sincronization.
