> 3 dayAnother great box from Decimator--HDMI to SDI in either direction, and can also be configured as a 1x4 DA, all for under $300--such a deal! Can be configured either from the onscreen panel, or through Decimators UCP software which is finally available for Mac as well as PC. Rugged box and the new locking power connector is a big improvement from their previous generation products. Like the reviews above, I use it to convert incoming camera signals for the Blackmagic switcher but Ive also used to convert SDI cameras to use with a Paralinx, HDMI output cameras for SDI signal path, and as a DA.

> 3 dayI bought the MD-HX for the sole purpose of using it for flipping my image horizontally for a teleprompter for my video conferences, so this is an overkill in some sense: an expensive solution for a simple problem that I unfortunately couldnt otherwise solve. You would think Microsoft should build such a simple feature in Windows, but they didnt. I tried other software utilities but none worked well. So this looked like the only solution I have. When I first got the MD-HX, I tried to fiddle with the small menu built into the device to effect the horizontal flip, but that didnt work, and the menu was hard to work with. So I emailed Decimator and they responded almost immediately, prompting me to install their USB Control Panel software and send some settings snapshots. I did and the utility worked well and was much easier to work with than the little menu in the device. Once I shared my settings with them they sent back advising me to make a few changes in the setting, and horizontal flipping worked right away! This product has many advanced features and detailed settings that I am not using, but I am sure they come handy for professional video production settings, and I believe they would be well worth the price.

> 3 dayYes, it accepts that input but outputs 59.9 Frames which my downstream equipment will not accept. Only choice from here is the Amazon to feed all your HDMI Teleprompter Screens: Hall Research SC-HD-2B 4K/60Hz HDMI Scaler with Audio Embed/Extract & Image Flip Capability @ https://www.amazon.com/Hall-Research-SC-HD-2B-Extract-Capability/dp/B07XKFBJDX/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=XKQPMM8W6PYM180E3GG7

> 3 dayMultifunctional tool I find more and more uses for in the studio. Rescaling plus image flip and format conversion make this a very valuable tool. I use it to change HDMI 1080p to HDSDI 1080i... flip images for my teleprompter monitor... and squeeze 16x9 images into older 4x3 monitors with flexibility on the framing. I will say I sometimes have trouble getting it to do what I want via navigating the menu on the device. Plugging it in and using the software to configure really helped me understand the settings.

Greater than one weekLove this unit. Purchased three of these in order to scale down my macbook pro refresh rate to 59.94 since they only do 60hz and the blackmagic design atem switchers dont accept 60hz. only drawback is the power supply (would have given it 5 stars otherwise). one failed out of the box. have to get replaced. ive heard a few other people with this issue as well.
