> 3 dayI wish (and i know this isnt the item for it) it had a multi-view. then it would solve all my needs and be the only thing i need in my Oh-Sh*t go bag. I didnt take a star oiff for that since thats a wish list and isnt what this item is for. I just wish it had an option for battery instead of needed a wall slug.

> 3 dayno more dedicated converter boxes or having the wrong one ! anything HDMI or SDI in to anything HDMI or SDI out. even does the odd frame rate conversions like 25p->59.94i. real life saver when dealing with older and picky HD gear that will only take certain signals. it also supports almost any flavor of frame aspect conversion too.

> 3 daySuper versatile, reasonably easy to use. I have several and they all have worked flawlessly. I find the LCD less than easy to view. I REALLY wish there was an iOS app for settings. Yes, Id have to carry around a lightning to USB cable, but thats way more convenient than lugging a laptop.

> 3 dayAfter trying another brand converter with no success, the Decimator filled the bill. My problem was a mismatch between camera signals of two different rates (domestic and foreign standards) which another manufactures site said it could handle... they fibbed... this product worked without any hassle at all! Highly satisfied and would strongly recommend!!

> 3 dayI love this thing! Its the swiss army knife of standards & frame rate conversion. I bought one for use with my camera system at the 2016 Lone Star EMMY awards show. The set-up for use went like this: I was the roaming camera in the audience grabbing shots as the winners walked up to the stage. The camera was a Canon 5D3 on a DJI Ronin with the signal wirelessly transmitted to video world via a IDX CW-1 HDMI Tx/Rcv system and switched on a BlackMagic ATEM via HD-SDI. ATEM users know that these switcher systems are VERY particular about the video signal it will take. If the video signal input isnt perfect, all you get on that channel is black. The Decimator allowed us to take the HDMI signal output at the wireless receiver and simultaneously convert it to HD-SDI in the frame size AND frame rate needed by the ATEM. If youre doing live events, you NEED to have a few of these in your kit.
