Freud 40-114: 1-5/8 (Dia.) Chamfer Bit

Dont be fooled by the item name, this bit actually has a 1/2 shank. As with all Freud bits, this is a great item.

Worked great for putting a chamfer on both sides of my 1 x 1-1/2 trim to match my ceiling angle. I would recommend Freud bits for any application. they are awesome!

This bit made my 45 degree miter joints accurate.

This bit is exactly what I needed to create a 15 degree angle for making my Adirondack chairs. It’s much easier than using a jigsaw!!

Like all other Freud router bits I have purchased it sharp and stays sharp. I would but again.

I got this bit for a simple project and now I use it more than I ever guessed. It does a great job.

Like the 1/2 inch shank which is needed for the largest router bit I’ve ever used. I have only taken many small passes on boards to long for my table saw.
