Freud 40-114: 1-5/8 (Dia.) Chamfer Bit

Typical excellent Freud quality - this bit mills aluminum as well as wood. Cuts are super clean, no tearout when using the proper speed and feedrate. Zero chatter.

as advertised; so far it seems worth the expense (one can buy a similar one in off-brand for half as much); but this is something I will use for many years, and wanted a high quality one.

Good little 45 chamfer bit. Needed a 1/2 to go in my Bosch 2-1/3HP and this did the trick. No complaints, it works as youd expect.

This bit is just ticket for my needs. I would recommend it to anyone. I am very happy with this tool.

Worked great for chamfering the under side of a vanity top. Cut was smooth with no tear out. Ended up cutting myself trying to get it out of the packaging though!

This bit is exactly what I needed to create a 15 degree angle for making my Adirondack chairs. It’s much easier than using a jigsaw!!

If you want a good sharp bit, then this one fits the bill.
