> 3 dayPros: The bit is well made and cuts well. Cons: The guide bearing is very thin and when you put pressure on it while cutting you can leave a mark on soft woods like pine. I solved the con issue by making the chamber in two cuts and not putting a lot of pushing the router against the work piece.

> 3 dayHeavy duty tool eliminates chatter. Just slow it down to accommodate it’s size.

> 3 dayThe router bit is great however it has a 1/2 shank. It will not work with the router most people have. I had to buy a router to use it.

> 3 dayI am rather new to woodworking after having not done very much in a number of years. Im amazed at the new tools and products that are making it easier to accomplish tasks much faster with better results that the old ways. Freud has always crafted quality tools and this one is no exception. Fast, sharp and easy to use bit. Glad Im spending the extra cash instead of trying to make an inferior bit work. Will keep buying the Freud bits one or two at a time until I get a complete set together. VERY HAPPY!!

Greater than one weekTheres not much to say here ... the bit is beautiful and up to the standard one might expect from Freud. It was packaged well and shipped promptly from the seller, arriving quickly and as described. The bit has a sharp and very durable edge. I used the bit to put a chamfer on some 12 PVC pipe sections I was using to construct part of an environmental science research project, and the bit worked just fine in PVC without chipping, grabbing or any misbehaviour. By the way, doing this creates volumes of white plastic sawdust that would serve well as fake snow.

> 3 dayWorked beautifully to edge a hundred feet or so of solid wood countertop at 16,000 rpm using a PC 3.5 hp router. Did not require sanding afterward. Even under magnification I could not see any ripples. Only criticism I have is that the bearing seems small and did leave a slight impression along the face of the work, though that may have been because of the mass of the router.
