I bought this monitor after a month of almost going crazy with my Motorola PIP1610. It was absolutely horrible and never stayed connected but I am here to say that this monitor is the BEST OF THE BEST! It was incredibly easy to set up and mount on the wall. It literally slides right onto a nail. I have had no issues with connection, the screen is super clear and I love that it has volume controls easily accessible right at the top the parent unit. Also the noise reduction software is out of this world. My previous monitor would haunt my dreams with the white noise coming through the unit even on the lowest setting. The difference between having the noise reduction on and off on this monitor is crazy and it truly blocks out 95% of the sound associated with my Hatch for white noise. I cant recommend this baby monitor enough. It is reliable, great quality, and worth every penny. Dont be discouraged like I was that it doesnt have an app to view on your phone in culmination with the parent unit. After having a baby monitor that had those capabilities but the rest of the functioning was horrible, I wont miss it for a second. This is the baby monitor to get!

This is a wonderful product with one giant flaw; you need to push the cord into the monitor VERY hard. Very, very, full force with your thumb HARD. Push it until you hear and feel the click. If you do not do this, the battery will die and the monitor will start beeping... There is even a tag on the cord that says to push the cord in completely, and even after seeing this my moms caregivers were not able to push it hard enough to fully connect the monitor to the power source/charger.

We bought this camera because we were looking for a baby moniter that wasnt easy to hack into. We liked this because the video feed can only be seen on the moniter it comes with. The picture quality is pretty good. I wish the screen was a bit larger. The night vision is great, very crisp and clear. You can zoom in and move the camera to look around the room. Its nice to be able to move the camera to find the cat that snuck into babies room. This camera works great for what we use it for and it was a good price.

Definitely happy with this monitor and I take it with me when I travel too. Its not perfect but in monitor worlds it is close to it -- I think monitors have a bit of a way to go to be extremely optimal but it is definitely the best out there right now. Also so worth it because the customer service is amazing! My monitor malfunctioned and after reaching out to them and trying to troubleshoot, they sent me a new one and the process was easy breazy. Kristine Z was a pleasure to deal with.

We have two cameras and it has great picture and range! Good for multiple kids too if you need more than one camera but only want one monitor.

Very reliable monitor with great night vision. Monitor stays charged a king time when off charger. Noise reduction option is amazing to drown out other noises like sound machine so you can just hear baby when they cry or make any noise at all.

Good monitor, love how big and clear the screen is. the only downfall for me is the battery life. it sometimes doesn’t even make it through the night if i turn the screen on from sleep mode several times. i only have the screen to stay on for 1 minute because anything longer again, kills the battery. so that’s disappointing. other than that, it’s a good monitor

I really liked this monitor when we bought it. I had a different brand before this one which had one camera and had advertised being able to have two. I thought I might want to separate my twins eventually, so I got it. Then I DID have to separate my twins for EVERYONES sanity, and found out the monitor was NOT expandable. You had to buy it with two at the beginning. UGH! So, I did research and bought this one. I was THRILLED! Then, baby sister came along 11 months after the twins, and once she was moved into her own room, we needed a THIRD monitor. Yikes! But, This one was expandable! YAY! Fast forward a few months, and I had issues with the monitor. I am one TIRED mama, and issues with my baby monitor is about the equivalent with a straw that broke a camels back. It was literally the last thing I could stand. This company was fantastic to deal with and problem solve with me. It was so great. From my original research, I know this is a smaller company compared to VTech (my first monitor), or others. So, I was a little leery of doing business with them. Then, when I needed tech support, I was completely stressed. But, they were patient and kind and helpful. I really appreciated all the support they gave and the way they stand behind their product. Honestly, I really like this monitor. Oh, and one of my favorite things: You cant connect to the internet on it. No hacking into it by some weirdo watching/talking to your kid like other people have dealt with. It feels safer knowing Im the only one watching my three babies sleep and play.

It’s such a great monitor and camera! And I love that I got it. The picture is nice and clear, especially the night vision. The reason I gave it a four star and not five is because in order for it to show color, you have to be in a very very bright room. The picture where the monitor is in color is in my living room that has a big window, however, it’s only in color because I have a bright light on also. Without the light on, it would show in black and white. Also, when I hit the talk button, the person in the room with the camera cannot hear me too well when I speak. I have to speak pretty loudly. Lastly, the monitor doesn’t last too long off of the charger. I say 6hrs max. Other than those issues, I really love this camera and monitor.

The Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO video baby monitor is our most advanced monitor yet. As a parent, you want digital security without internet connectivity for an added layer of protection against hackers that may be able to access your camera over the internet. Operating on 2nd-generation FHSS frequency in a closed-loop system that does NOT utilizes your home WiFi, only YOU can see and hear your baby. The DXR-8 PRO features cutting edge features such as Active Noise Reduction (ANR), a high definition display, and interchangeable lenses. ANR is an option that can be toggled on or off to filter any background noise such as fans, air conditioners, humidifiers, and air purifiers, that are commonly heard on baby monitors as "static noise". When it comes to video clarity, the monitor features a 5" ultra-clear LCD display at 720P resolution with enhanced night vision. The three-step digital zoom can be operated with the optical zoom lens (included) so that you can zoom in to see your baby sleeping in 6x zoom without causing the pixelation and blurring seen on other monitors. All functions are controlled on our next-generation user interface. Dedicated volume and brightness controls on the top of the monitor unit. Brightness of the LED lights (power and LED sound bar) can be dimmed so it won"t shine your room bright at night. Standard features such as two-way talk back, sleep mode, night vision included. Monitor wakes instantly from sleep mode with a press of any button. Pair with portable battery pack (sold separately) for up to 24 hours battery life. Comes with manufacturer"s 1 year warranty, extendable to 2 years for free upon registration. Note: predecessor model DXR-8 camera units are NOT compatible with the DXR-8 PRO.
