InSinkErator Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Badger 5, Standard Series, 1/2 HP Continuous Feed, Black

Installing this was a breeze. It took me longer to clear the items from beneath the sink. I replaced a 9 year old Badger 1 with the new Badger 5 and was able to re-use the mounting and sink collar. It is somewhat heavy but I rested the unit on an upside down dish pan between attempts to mount. I think it took about 3 tries to successfully hit all 3 points. This was on a Prime Day sale and it came a day sooner than they predicted so I was tickled pink that I could resolve it all in a days time. Im a grandmother on the upper end of middle-aged with no plumbing experience so I think anyone with patience can get the job done.

I had one of these and it broke. I got this on Amazon for $95 and my neighbor installed it. Great deal. Plumber told me it would be $550 to install and neighbor did it in 1/2 h.

The item shipped as described. It had the power cable installed on the unit already. It replaced an older model that is not made anymore, and all the fittings were correct. I was able to install the disposal in about 15 minuets including removing the old one. I had no experience installing disposals in the past. Works great and much quitter than the old one.

Seems a bit noisy compared to our old Waste King disposal.

Solid product and the customer service from where it came was great. Next time I will buy direct from the company that I got it from as Amazon is garbage, yet I buy from them.....
