High quality and long lasting. My first one lasted almost 10 years

A little disappointed because it was expecting it to be able to be plugged in or hard wired but it was really only set to he plugged in. My husband had to take the wiring out and then re hardwire the mount. Other than that we are happy with this. Quiet and small but good work horse :)

A little difficult to install within confined area under my sink. Fortunately I was just replacing the same unit with cord already connected

This was very easy to install and the instructions were very easy to follow and the product worked perfectly. Very satisfied.

Old disposal lasted exactly 12 years, the lifetime of these Badger 5s. I like that! This one is the same. I look forward to many years of good use. ***Super happy that it is alot quieter!!**

Purchased this to replace another badger 5 that was leaking. I purchased the same model to make installation super easy since all of the connections are the same. The bonus was that this model came with a pre-installed cord, so I figured that that would make it even faster. The cord though, was too short. I ended up having to replace it with the original cord. The pre-installed cord, though, was very difficult to remove though because they used a snap-in grommet. I had to break it to get it out. Just be aware of this when ordering. It might be fine for your application.
