InSinkErator Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Badger 5, Standard Series, 1/2 HP Continuous Feed, Black

Lasted for 4 months. Blades of disposal came loose and now the it makes terrible noises like there is a spoon stuck inside of it. Only standard were placed in the disposal.The original disposal worked fine for 3 years.

+It was the same type as the one I was replacing, so I just unplugged old one, disconnected dishwasher and sink drain pipes. (careful here, be sure to put the included washer seal into disposal drain and knock out the dishwasher drain plug if connecting a dishwasher). I slapped the new one into already installed flange, even though a new mount flange was included. (I figured why ask for trouble or leaks) I plugged the already connected disposal electric cord into the under sink electric outlet. Done in under thirty minutes.

Replaced a 20 year old disposal and boy it is so much quieter without loss of power.

I bought this as a direct replacement for another brand because it has better reviews. I changed nothing about the plumbing or the sink. Literal one for one replacement but a different brand. This stupid thing drains so slow. Probably at 10% of the speed of the previous brand. Can I get my money back so I can buy the other brand again?

It was easy, and cheaper than home depot without having to deal with the power cord. No brainer.

Great product!

This unit replaces a previous Badger, which lasted 19 years! Since the mount is the same, it is a simple Plug and Play. It took me less than 10 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one. I didnt replace the old mount since it is still good with no leak. The new disposal makes less vibration and noise. Hopefully, this new Badger will last another 19 years.
