InSinkErator Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Badger 5, Standard Series, 1/2 HP Continuous Feed, Black

Last night at 10.00 my many year old one broke not the fault of the unit it didnt like the metal thing that fell inside and it got a crack. So I ordered a replacement it was an oversight deal and by 8.00 in the morning we were using the new installed one. I couldnt have made it to a store faster . Purchased identical model within the same year, except now it comes with this strange tab that doesnt allow me to tighten ring when seared in tab. Why

Good price, good brand. Replaced my Evergrind (by Insinkerator) which failed after almost 20 years. Easy to install, perfect fit.

We had the same model installed just over 10 years ago and the bearings finally seized up. This was an exact replacement, is very quiet and does the job of a disposal just fine. Glad I bought this unit, I saw others at significantly higher prices that I am sure would have worked, but this one was the least expensive and does the job. We are glad we bought it and would again.

My late husband installed this garbage disposal over 20yrs ago. So naturally when it finally died, I bought the exact same make/model. With the assistance of a leveling jack, because of weight, I was able to install this one by myself in less than 45 minutes. Probably would’ve taken him 20 minutes. But with the help of YouTube and prayer I managed on my own and it works fantastic.

Works like a charm, and I find it very quiet! Also, this is good option if you are limitted with the shorter space between the sink bottom and drain pipe.

I purchased this product to replace a geriatric InSinkErator at the same time as I replaced the geriatric sink. Installation was easy, instructions easy to follow. I love the fact that it came with cord and plug so I didnt have to hardwire. Works fine. Minimal noise for a disposer. I hope to not need another disposer in my lifetime, but I definitely recommend and would purchase again.
