> 3 dayI was able to install this under my sink in less than a half hour. I already had a third horsepower model that came with the house. This new one is quieter and works just as well or better. I havent really tested its power.

> 3 dayAfter receiving the new Badger 5 on 7/26/2018, I noticed a slight diffrence between my old model (5-75A) has been installed for 14 years and new one (5-87A). The new one has diffrent discharge outlet (without thread), this will make my previous connection pipe 5/8 short. Manufacture Customer Service suggested a flixible tube 08772D $16 free shipping, extended to 6-10, but my directly connection is around 11-5/8. This little bit short connection can be either to home deport buy a longer pipe then cut it or use existing pipe with plastic washer, tape and plumbers putty keep the connection, so far , no leaking has been observed. The Badger 5 works great! To make the job underneath the sink counter easier, using a car jack to rise up the InsinkErator and let it slowly fit into the sink holder, then tight the lock ring to the right position. Hope this will help those whos are not handy man as me.

> 3 daySold as new but missing parts. The product itself is great once I was able to collect necessary parts for installation.

> 3 dayI do think it is a bit noisy and my husband and friend were able to install it - though we are now going back to fix the thing that didnt work with the dishwasher because they did not read the initial directions - but easily found on and on the mend once he actually read the instructions!

> 3 dayGood quality replacement disposal. The original one had been in place for around 15 years when it finally quit working (started to leak at the bottom). Didnt even have to replace the mounting system! Probably not the quietest one you can buy but for the price it is a great disposer!

> 3 dayLike everyone said, surprisingly easy to install. I wish things in life broke in order of difficulty to fix. This is a great primer lesson to home repair.

> 3 dayI read the post on Install tips. Actually printed out since these projects usually include lessons learned that were not included in the instructions. NOT NEEDED (thank you though). The instructions were clear. The unit was so simple to install I spent more time checking it for install errors than installation. Twisted right on. Light enough for me to lift and align. Worked first time with zero issues.
