Easy to install and works fine. No problems, Yet.

I mean, what can you really say about a garbage disposal? My old one started leaking from the bottom, so I tried to replace it with the exact same model, hoping the install would be pretty easy. Luckily it was really easy once I figured out how to take off the old one. The one tricky part was my old disposal did not have was a gasket for inside the discharge pipe... The bracket and screw holes were also slightly off. If I would had just used the new parts instead of trying to reuse the old parts, this would have been a much easier install. Since install, product seems to be doing what its supposed to. Its not overly loud but also not super quiet. Overall, happy with the purchase, and just glad it doesnt leak like the last one!

Ok reader my old badger 5 that was 10 years old , no complaints even old one leaked. Previous owner abused everything. Easy install, all you need Is plumbers putty and a flat head screwdriver if replacing an existing unit. Note: do not use the black drain pipe that comes with it, not good quality. Also , it says to knock out the dishwasher drain plug with a screwdriver and hammer, I suggest drilling it out with a large drill bit or drilling the edges of the hole first , before knocking it out.

Easy to installplus the cord is already attached and wired so you dont have to worry about doing the wiring yourself.

Needed to replace an older (8 years) InSinkErator disposal that had stopped working, and bought this one because the dimensions are identical. Installation was thus a snap as all of the existing drain piping could be used without modification, and I could use the sink-mount from the old unit. Took all of 15 minutes to replace.
