InSinkErator Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Badger 5, Standard Series, 1/2 HP Continuous Feed, Black

If you already have an insinkerator, it really only takes minutes to replace. I replaced an old badger 1 with the badger 5. Everything lines up (dishwasher discharge, main disposal out flow). Easy job.

This product is replacement for my homes original disposal which was about ten years old. It works well, but requires a lot of discretion as to what goes down the disposal.

I had a similar model and it took me less than 15 mins to fix it. I would highly recommend this model as it comes with the power cable and very easy to install.

You will not find someone more un-handy than me. I replaced this model with the same model and it was ridiculously easy to replace. Saved myself money on having someone do it. Very pleased.

I bought this to replace a Whirlpool GC2000. The InSinkErator, Badger 5 1/2 HP is a direct replacement. It took about 10 minutes to pull the old one out and put the new one in. I didnt replace the sink seal because it looked good and hasnt been leaking. The whirlpool lasted about 15 years. Hopefully this InSinkErator will last as long.
