This one is not that great loud. Just a fluke I have used this brand HP for years. I would buy again.

Thanks for the insurance claim that I now how to file. of course you have a great quality control person on the phone... probably from the east coast cause they were amazing and stern.. no west coasters like that.. lol anyway floors ruined but im trying to smile about it.. I purely wont use this brand based off of product design ingenuity and customer service support.

Bought this as a replacement for an existing garbage disposer that bit the dust. It was easy to follow the instructions and get it installed. We had a switched outlet for the disposer so got the option with the cord and plug, make sure you get the right one for your situation.

Perfect purchase! Within 40 minutes I had my old InSinkErator Badger 1 out and the new InSinkErator Badger 5 in. Just follow the directions and dont forget to knock out the plug if you are hooking up to a dishwasher. I am a 56 year old woman who isnt super strong so I had to lay on my back to lift the new one into place, but that was by far the hardest part. Only tools needed were a flathead screwdriver and a hammer. Definitely buy one like this one with a power cord; it is worth the extra $.
