> 3 dayGreat disposal. Easily replaced the existing Badger 5 disposal that lasted almost 13 years. Would have given it 5 stars except its a little loud.

> 3 dayI had a smaller model prior that developed a leak. So I found this model to replace it. Its a perfect fit, easy to install and works perfectly! Plus its cost less then the same model from the hardware store! And it was delivered the next day!

> 3 dayBought it from the reconditioned warehouse at amazon, great bargain the unit was brand new, only the box had a little damage. This is the second no third product i purchased from the warehouse, saved money on all three.

21-11-2024This replaced an older Badger model when we updated the kitchen (it had only 1/3 hp), and fit nicely under the new sink. It came with everything necessary for the install (note there are two rubber gaskets, make sure you install the one with a groove over the outlet pipe), and fired up without issue. The noise is no more than the old one, maybe even a little quieter, but its got plenty of power!

Greater than one weekShreds food debris as expected. Dont dump a pile of potato peels in and youll be fine. Came with all hardware required and installation was simple enough. Should only take minutes to install if replacing an old disposal with quick release bracket. A little loud but what do you expect? Its a garbage disposal!

> 3 dayI was very impressed with how easy it was to swap out an old Badger 5. The old one was at least 10 years old and was starting to leak. It stopped working one night, so I hopped on Amazon to have one delivered within 36 hours. I read a couple of reviews, watched a few videos, and I felt comfortable enough to do this myself. I generally stay away from anything plumbing related since water and leaks are one of the worst things possible for a property. I had the new Badger 5 installed in 30 minutes. I highly recommend getting the unit with a power cable. I didn’t have to change any pipes because it was essentially the same unit/setup. I also did not remove the old fastening since this brand makes a big deal about how easy it is to swap the units with the brackets. Extremely satisfied and cheaper than going to Home Depot and/or using a plumber.
